Tens of thousands of people in Germany and France protested against COVID-19-related restrictions and vaccine passports over the weekend. More and more people worldwide are standing up and saying the restrictions infringe on their rights.
German police had banned nine planned demonstrations for Aug. 28. Demonstrators in Dusseldorf held banners that read, “Stop police arbitrariness,” “Protect the fundamental right to demonstrate,” and “Repel attacks on freedom of assembly,”
Similar protests took place in Berlin in early August, which ended in clashes with police and hundreds of people detained.
In France, the Interior Ministry said that around 160,000 people took to the streets on Aug. 28 in the seventh weekend of protests within the country. Demonstrators argued that vaccine passports that were recently approved by the French Parliament unfairly restrict those who aren’t vaccinated. In other words, the French government is practicing discrimination against a segment of the population. What will France do next? Build camps to house those who are not vaccinated? Australia is already doing that.
“We aren’t laboratory rats,” one 11-year-old boy said. “We live in a free country. There are no figures that justify mass vaccinations,” the boy’s father said.
France’s vaccine passport, which includes a QR code, allows businesses to scan to determine whether an individual has been fully vaccinated or has a recent negative COVID-19 test. The rule applies to restaurants, gyms, and theaters, as well as some long-distance travel.
Is the Colorado State Board of Health trying to reduce the number of people living in assisted living centers, nursing homes, et al? On August 30th, the Board voted to approve emergency rules to require all staff working in health care facilities to be vaccinated.
The State Board of Health is trying to coerce workers into getting jabbed despite the risk of serious side effects and the increasing evidence that the vaccines are ineffective against the Delta variant. It also ignores the fat that higher viral loads are being seen in so-called “breakthrough” infections among those who have been vaccinated.
The State Board is doing this at the behest of Governor Polis. The requirement applies at all of the following:
- General hospitals
- Psychiatric hospitals
- Community clinics
- Rehabilitation hospitals
- Convalescent centers
- Community mental health centers
- Acute treatment units
- Facilities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Nursing care facilities
- Hospice care facilities
- Assisted living residences
- Dialysis treatment clinics
- Ambulatory surgical centers
- Birthing centers
- Home care agencies
Believe it or not, but a reporter went off script and asked about staffing shortages that might result from this poorly thought out mandate. Such shortages would undoubtedly result in more avoidable deaths in any facility that experiences a staffing shortage. And there will be staffing shortages once this requirement kicks in. There are hospitals across the country experiencing this firsthand.
Scott Bookman, a high mucky muck in the Colorado health care hierarchy, dodged the question.
“This vaccine is the ticket out of this pandemic. It is safe. It is effective. It reduces the risk of hospitalization. It reduces the risk of death. And we need to make sure our most vulnerable are protected.
“While we understand there are concerns around staffing, this prioritization is critical to ensure that we keep our most vulnerable safe. We will continue to partner with our health care providers to evaluate any staffing issues they have in the short run.”
Bob McDonald, the executive director of Denver Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE), said:
“The only way out of this is with mandatory vaccinations.”
This is just total BS. There are highly effective treatments for this illness. These treatments need to become commonplace. Doctors should not have to fight with pharmacies to get prescriptions filled.
This has been a scamdemic from the beginning. Experts in viruses have been saying for a long time that trying to stop an epidemic by vaccinating while there are reservoirs of the disease is resulting in the development of the variants that we are now seeing.
This lunacy needs to end. Stop vaccinating and treat the disease.
