There will never be zero COVID. Without a doubt, COVID has become endemic. Given this and given the fact that vaccines are not stopping the spread of COVID, wouldn’t make more sense to focus on effective treatments? Apparently, this kind of logic escapes those in power in Australia and elsewhere.
While the COVID vaccines may prevent some people from getting very sick with the original virus, vaccinated people still get COVID (including its variants) and still spread COVID. There are experts in the field who theorize that the explosion of new variants is a direct result of vaccinating while outbreaks are going on. And evidence is emerging that suggests that the vaccinated are more vulnerable to subsequent coronaviruses (mutations). What has become abundantly clear is that the mRNA therapy masquerading as a vaccine, does not eradicate the disease from a vaccinated population, unlike smallpox, polio, or other traditional vaccines.
With this in mind, the sensible thing to do is to treat it. There are cheap effective treatments as has been demonstrated by numerous front line doctors. The two current drugs that seem to work include hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), which was instantly demonized because it would have been a success for President Trump. The second one is Ivermectin (IVM), which has also been demonized as a horse dewormer despite the fact that it won a Nobel Prize.
Australia has taken the next step in denigrating a miracle drug that is saving lives. Australia has banned the prescribing of IVM for anything except parasites. This is absolute insanity.
Today, the TGA, acting on the advice of the Advisory Committee for Medicines Scheduling, has placed new restrictions on the prescribing of oral ivermectin. General practitioners are now only able to prescribe ivermectin for TGA-approved conditions (indications) – scabies and certain parasitic infections.

These changes have been introduced because of concerns with the prescribing of oral ivermectin for the claimed prevention or treatment of COVID-19. Ivermectin is not approved for use in COVID-19 in Australia or in other developed countries, and its use by the general public for COVID-19 is currently strongly discouraged by the National COVID Clinical Evidence Taskforce, the World Health Organisation and the US Food and Drug Administration.
Australia opined that there are a number of significant public health risks with IVM being used for COVID-19 rather than getting vaccinated. People might not seek treatment if they experience symptoms. What about the people who have been vaccinated? So called breakthrough infections have exploded exponentially across the world.
Viral loads in vaccinated people are significantly higher early in the progression of the disease (up to 250 times higher). Isn’t this a significant public health risk? Wouldn’t it be better to actually prevent infection through prophylactic use of IVM?
Vietnam avoided the worst of the COVID epidemic for more than a year through the use of IVM. Once they went to vaccination, cases exploded.
Australia went on to express concern about potential overdosing with IVM from people reading social media posts. This seems to be so obvious. However, it must be asked. Would that happen if doctors are prescribing the correct doses? How does banning doctors from prescribing IVM help this situation?
Clinical trials have produced results demonstrating an 86% reduction in infection. Compare this with Pfizer’s “vaccine” which is now estimated to be less than 40% effective in Israel.
So, why is Australia banning IVM? We all know the answer to that. Big Pharma cannot make oodles of money off IVM. Effective treatments weaken the hold politicians have over the public.
