A federal judge Tuesday blocked a national COVID-19 vaccine mandate that would have required private government contractors to get their jabs. This is yet another blow to the administration’s jab push.
This mandate, set to take effect Jan. 4, was the latest White House coronavirus directive to be blocked by a court injunction.
The court ruling and previous similar related decisions indicate that it is increasingly likely the debate over governmental overreach could wind up in the US Supreme Court.
“Hawaii Governor David Ige on Monday signed an emergency declaration for the entire State of Hawaii as heavy rains from a Kona Low weather system are anticipated to continue to cause flooding and damage to public and private property.
Hawaii is having a rough go of it lately. Of course, although we haven’t heard much about it on the mainland, they have an idiot for a governor. COVID restrictions were and still are off the wall there.
A legitimate question is if the flash floods force you to flee your home, will you be arrested if you don’t have your mask on?
Protesters disrupted traffic outside Mayor de Blasio’s Brooklyn home on Tuesday night and expressed outrage over COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
The demonstrators chanted “No vaccine mandates!” and “My body, my choice!” as they congregated in the middle of the road.
“We say no, we say no!” and “Save our children!” the group also yelled.
First ,they came for government workers. Then they came for people who eat out. Then they came for children in school. When they come for you, will anyone be left to say “No?”
Who will protect private business owners from irate people who do not wear masks? In NYC a man attacked the owner of a Midtown military surplus store who asked him to wear a face mask while inside the business.
The suspect first argued with the 68-year-old proprietor of Kaufman Army and Navy Store before punching the man in the head at about 5:55 p.m. on Nov. 20, according to the NYPD.
The assailant fled the West 42nd Street store in a taxi after the attack.
This is what “Adolph” de Blasio wants. Violence against private individuals allows him more space for more governmental control to be accepted by the public.
The better approach is non-ending protests outside the mayor’s Brooklyn home.
UNION COUNTY, N.C. — The Union County Board of Education approved a resolution to end certain COVID-19 protocols in public schools.
The board of education ultimately approved the resolution in an 8-1 vote. Still one UCPS member who is anti-science and anti-kid.
The joint resolution calls on North Carolina to end contact tracing and quarantine protocols for COVID-19 that are currently in place by the Department of Health and Human Services for public school students.
Students currently under quarantine or isolation due to COVID-19 protocols are asked to remain in quarantine and isolation at this time and follow instructions provided by their school.
Sanity seems to be stronger in Florida. It’s been just more than a month since the CDC approved the first COVID-19 vaccine for kids ages 5 to 11, and new numbers show that the vast majority of kids in Florida aren’t getting it.
Sounds like parents in Florida understand the dangers.
More sanity. South Carolina lawmakers have advanced a proposal to ban COVID-19 vaccine mandates for state and local government employees, contractors and public school students.
The bill considered Tuesday by a House Ways and Means subcommittee would effectively make such vaccine mandates illegal for first responders as well. School districts wouldn’t be able to require students to get the jab and private employers wouldn’t be allowed to fire employees who don’t get vaxxed.
