Ukraine Atrocities

I have not written a whole lot about what is going on in Ukraine because there is almost no way to get accurate information.  Russian State media runs propaganda for Putin.  In Western countries, Big Media is little more than the same kind of propaganda arm.  To quote one wag, the media here are just stenographers who repeat whatever the government elites tell them.  The days of independent journalists digging out stories are gone.

On Monday, the mindless one, who sometimes sleeps at the White House, called for a criminal trial against Russian President Vladimir Putin for war crimes in Ukraine.

Transcript:

“THE PRESIDENT:  I have one comment to make before I start the day.  You may remember I got criticized for calling Putin a war criminal.  Well, the truth of the matter — you saw what happened in Bucha.  This warrants him — he is a war criminal.

But we have to gather the information, we have to continue to provide Ukraine with the weapons they need to continue the fight, and we have to get all the detail so this can be an actual — have a wartime trial.

This guy is brutal.  And what’s happening in Bucha is outrageous, and everyone’s seen it.

I’ll — I’ll —

Q    Do you agree that it’s genocide?

THE PRESIDENT:  No, I think it is a war crime.

Q    What are you going to do about it, sir?  Are you going to do more sanctions on Russia?

THE PRESIDENT:  I’m seeking more sanctions, yes.  I’ll have time to announce that to you.

Q    Can you actually hold Putin accountable, though?  You called him a war criminal.

THE PRESIDENT:  He should be held accountable.

QCan you actually hold him accountable without sanctions?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, no —

Q    What else can you do?

THE PRESIDENT:  No, no — go — go — the war crimes tri- — yes, I’m going to continue to add sanctions.

Thank you.

Q    What kind of sanctions, Mr. President?  What are you thinking?

THE PRESIDENT:  I’ll let you know.

Of course, Biden does not know what he is thinking.  He hasn’t been told or doesn’t remember what he is supposed to think.  All he knows is that he is supposed to say Putin is a war criminal and Bucha is the evidence.

Here is the problem with this narrative.  Russian troops left Bucha on Wednesday, March 30th. Bucha was declared free by its mayor last Thursday.  The last Russian troops were gone from the city by that time.  The mayor said the city was liberated.  However, there are no independent reports to confirm that Russian troops had been driven out of the city.

Until the Sunday/Monday timeframe there were no reports of dead bodies on the streets.  There have been reports of Ukrainian National Police “cleansing the streets” over the weekend.  Not sure what “cleansing the streets” means if there were no Russian troops left there.  Let’s not forget that the mayor said the city had been liberated on Thursday.

Biden said:

“And what’s happening in Bucha is outrageous, and everyone’s seen it.

Not everybody has seen it.  Here is one example.

The circled items are the problem.  These are emergency rations given by Russian troops when they left Bucha.  Why would Russian troops given rations to people they were about to murder?

Russia has called for a meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the reports of atrocities.  It has now been blocked TWICE by the UK.  Why?  It couldn’t be because MI6 has been intimately involved in Ukrainian atrocities that are designed to pressure the West into a NATO war with Russia, could it?

Let’s not forget the site of the supposed atrocity is held by UKRAINE.  But Russia called for a meeting of the UN Security Council to talk about it.  If the “genocide” was real, why wouldn’t Ukraine welcome such an inquiry?

Is the shutting down of public discourse part of our values now?  Is our CIA intimately connected to the dead bodies we are being shown?  Control of the narrative is all that matters. Facts inconvenient to the narrative will always be ignored. The battle for hearts and minds via Big Media propaganda is what allows Western governments to continue their obscenities.

What is the truth?  That is exceedingly hard to determine. Scott Ritter notes:

The main source of the Bucha tragedy reports is a videotape, taken by the Ukrainian National Police, of one of their convoys driving through a street in the town. A dozen or so corpses litter the roadway, many of them appearing to have been bound. This video has gone viral, producing a pandemic of anguish and anger that has swept over much of the world, capturing the attention of heads of state and the head of the Catholic Church alike, resulting in a tidal wave of condemnation and outrage directed at Russia and its president, Vladimir Putin. The cause-and-effect relationship between the video and the global backlash is clear – the former could not exist without the latter.

Again when did this video surface?  It did not surface when Ukrainian forces entered the city.

Ukrainian police report from APRIL 2ND.  That was Saturday.  Not a word about “Bodies on the streets.”

Where are the flies, birds and other animals that would congregate around dead bodies that had been there for days?  Is this just another fake hate crime ala Jussie Smollett?  The problem with this one is that nuclear weapons are involved.

Mass hysteria was the goal here.  The propaganda war is useful in rallying the hysterical masses who will believe any media headlines they see.  The UK is blocking an investigation so that the fake narrative will seep into the consciousness of the public.

Let’s remember that the British chief prosecutor of the court, Karim Khan, announced in early March 2022 that he had launched an investigation into alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Ukraine.

Given the high profile of the Bucha allegations afforded by Biden’s assertions, has Khan dispatched a forensics team to take control of the crime scene and oversee autopsies on the victims to establish the time of death, mechanism of death, etc?

If you said, “of course not,” you are right.  Scott Ritter notes:

The results of such an investigation would more than likely conflict with the narrative being pursued by the Ukrainian government and echoed in the West by compliant media outlets and politicians alike. This is the prime reason why Khan is not currently on the ground in Bucha. One can assume that if and when Khan is eventually given access to evidence about the Bucha killings, it will have been manipulated by the Ukrainian National Police to such an extent that disproving the allegations will be virtually impossible.

The truth about what happened in Bucha is out there, waiting to be discovered. Unfortunately, that truth appears to be inconvenient for those in a position to pursue it aggressively through a forensics-based, on-site investigation. If it so happens that it eventually emerges that the Ukrainian National Police murdered Ukrainian civilians for the crime of allegedly collaborating with the Russians during their brief occupation of Bucha, and the forces of international law are brought to bear against the true perpetrators of that crime, any true pursuit of justice would have to include both the US and UK governments as witting co-conspirators in any crime charged.

Just what are our government and the UK trying to hide?  What is of such importance that our State Dept and the CIA are willing to risk war over it?  Who are the real butchers of Bucha?

Perhaps we could send the FBI over there so that they can muck up the evidence like they did in Las Vegas, Boston, San Bernardino, Orlando and wherever else they go.

When will Khan start an investigation into the war crimes committed by Joe Biden in Afghanistan when he ordered the killing of an innocent family (including seven children)?

Biden’s handlers are trying to distract us from the impending collapse of the US economy.  A recession is underway.  Nothing distracts the public like a war.  However, the narrative engineers have gotten very sloppy.  More and more the truth is seeping out.

Question everything coming out of Washington.  Perhaps this should be a rule for people to follow.

  1. Don’t believe anything your government tells you.
  2. Don’t believe anything the western corporate media tells you.

Then there is this:
