During a recent speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Joe Biden angrily called out Republicans and conservatives as extremists that “threaten the very foundations of our republic.” Recent polls show that the majority of the public sees his speech as one that was designed to incite conflict.
Mark Meckler, president of the Convention of States, notes:
“These numbers reveal that most voters were sickened and deeply disturbed by what they saw last week. When you couple this finding with previous polling we did indicating a majority of voters also hold President Biden responsible for America’s divisions – it’s clear that the man who promised to unite the nation has become the most divisive President in American history.”
Of course, for Joe Biden, just as it is for many politicians, campaign promises are thinly disguised lies. Campaign promises are just fuel to elevate someone into higher office. Rarely do many campaign promises get worked on once the election is over. The notable exception to this was PDJT. Then again, he was not a politician.
Franklin Graham, the chief of the worldwide Christian ministry Samaritan’s Purse, charged that Joe Biden’s speech to the “soul of the nation” actually was an attack on “freedom-loving Americans.”
Graham noted:
“Tonight President Biden said that MAGA threatens the very foundation of our republic. Really? I want to see America great again. I want to see America as a leader, as a place for people who desire liberty and justice for all. I don’t want to see this country turned into a socialist country. I don’t want to see it fail.
“Does believing in freedom, justice, opportunity, less taxes, and smaller government make me an extremist? Absolutely not. The ones who are extremists are the ones who want to take that away from us! Ronald Reagan campaigned to Make America Great Again. Does that make him an extremist?
“President Biden is trying to vilify and demean conservative, freedom-loving Americans who do not support the failing and economically unsound policies of his administration. This is just further dividing our nation. Ultimately, America can only have true greatness through God. The blessings of this nation have come from the hand of God. We need to turn to Him. We need His help, His direction, and His healing.”
Tucker Carlson noted:
“‘The threat is not coming from barefoot religious extremists in caves. It’s not the Chinese government. It’s not Vladimir Putin himself, supposedly the most evil man in history. No, this threat is worse and home grown. The single gravest threat to America today is Republican voters. All 75 million of them. They are Nazis and destroyers of democracy.’ That’s the message of Joe Biden’s speech.'”
“What Joe Biden is saying right now is the official position of the entire executive branch of the U.S. Government. That include the justice department and Intel agencies and the world’s most powerful standing military. Think about that. Does it make you nervous?”
If there is anything history teaches us, it is that failing dictators raid and imprison their political opponents. They also explicitly divide people based on race, religion and ideology. Biden continues to divide, demean and disparage Americans today because they disagree with his policies. He is the most divisive President in American history.
