The Ukrainian situation lurches unsteadily towards a full-scale war. First came Nord Stream. Then came the Kerch Strait Bridge. Questions that come to mind.
Some say the bridge was the act of a lone wolf, rogue actor on the scene. With so many people wanting to get cover from their failing machinations, why would we believe this?
What was the purpose of the bridge action? Europe and the UK are a basket case on the financial front. Large insurance companies may go belly up. The UK pension funds are tottering on the brink. Credit Suisse has its problems. Would a full-scale war between NATO and Russia distract the public enough from the absolute evil visited on the public by their own governments?
Who is winning? Who is losing? Only the lame brained neo-cons who want war all the time actually believe Russia is losing. And only the same group cannot see the sophisticated weaponry that Russia has been using. Believing that Russia is a remnant of the old Soviet Union on the military front will get you killed.
In 2000, Paul Wolfowitz pledged to support an independent Ukraine, to provoke Russia to go to war with it, and ultimately to finance the destruction of the resurgent rival of the USA. How does this play into all we are seeing?
How badly have the instigators of this conflict mis-calculated? We have spent months now focusing on increasingly severe sanctions on the Russian economy. How is that working out? The boomerang effect on Europe was real and predictable. The intended goal of creating a quagmire in Ukraine which would create domestic unrest at home for Putin has not materialized.
Why has John Bolton suddenly re-appeared at this moment to push for all-out war? Wasn’t he the one who called for the assassination of Putin? Was Bolton the inspiration for the lunatic neo-cons to pull off something like Nord Stream and the Kerch Strait Bridge?
Are elections in this country part of the reason for the insanity in Ukraine? The economic mess here is destroying the Democrats chances in the elections. Does the Left believe that escalating the war there will help them in the elections here? There is wall-to-wall coverage of Ukraine every day on the lame stream media.
Why has “Biden” been talking up the possibilities of nuclear war? Even Macron of France thinks this is an incredibly dangerous approach. Is this another prong in the Dems election campaign strategy? Is the public in western countries being softened up to accept the lunatic idea of a pre-emptive strike against Russia? God help us if that is so.
