Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov refused to take a pregame skate in the team’s LGBTQ+ warmup jersey, citing his preference “to stay true to myself and my religion,” which is Russian Orthodox. “I respect everyone. I respect everybody’s choices.”

For this choice he was roundly criticized and smeared. Since when does the idea of accepting someone else’s choices require one to celebrate such choices?
TSN’s Pierre LeBrun claimed Provorov “obviously does not respect ‘everyone.’ If he did respect everyone, he would have taken part in warm-up and worn the Pride Night jersey. Don’t hide behind religion.”

The “don’t hide behind religion” jibe is one of the dumbest and laziest smears going. It’s a favorite of bullies who act like they can bore into the souls of the blasphemers. It’s bad enough that LeBrun contends that the only possible reason someone might be disinclined to celebrate same-sex marriage or the sweeping “+” (I wonder if Lebrun could coherently explain what it means?) is deep-seated bigotry.
Again the question has to be why does everyone have to march in lockstep to an ideology that had been defined as sinful by many religions for a very long time?
Let’s take a quick look at the history of this. When the LGBTQ mafia came after Obama, he “evolved” his position and just seven and a half years ago, same sex “marriage” was legalized. This has opened a Pandora’s Box of flash bang grenades thrown at an unsuspecting public.
The “We only want to get married” storyline went out the window. There are men in drag demanding access to little children. This has been seen over and over again at libraries in different locales. When you object, you are labeled as homophobic or worse.

We now have men going into the private changing spaces of women and girls by claiming that they are female. How long will it be before we have the LGBTQ+ mafia demanding we celebrate pedophiles? With the recent redefinition of pedophiles to “minor-attracted persons,” it probably won’ be very long.
Attempting to compromise with these people is a fool’s errand. Making concessions to this crowd only ushers in further cultural and moral decay. Let’s Make America Moral Again.
