The Department of Defense announced on Thursday they have been monitoring a suspected Chinese spy balloon floating over the state of Montana. DOD has since announced that the balloon was clearly Chinese in origin.
Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder told NBC News, “The United States government has detected and is tracking a high-altitude surveillance balloon that is over the continental United States right now.”
The balloon is the size of three school buses.
Is this story another shiny object to distract the public from evil in Washington?
Joe Biden is obsessed with climate change, or at least pretends to be. Biden’s newest plan to fight climate change is to encourage people to stay home. To work remotely when possible and drive less.
Biden’s plan for this states:
“Telework and other components of a digital economy … can improve convenience by reducing travel demand, especially for work commuting. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted major opportunities for telework, with some studies showing the possibility of 10 percent long-term reduction in annual vehicle miles traveled.” The plan goes on to identify “remote access to services like health care and education” as one of the “key determinants of future travel demand.”
Sounds like they are getting to declare a “climate emergency.” The Democrats really love “emergencies” since they give them the excuse to take away God-given liberties. Are they getting ready to lock us down again like they did during COVID?
