One of the things that I hear from people from time to time about the corruption in our government is, “There is nothing we can do to change what is going on.”  Some may opine that the only answer to these corrupt and evil people is violence.

Now let me state upfront that I agree that the behaviors we are seeing within the ranks of our political elite will not change until and unless people go to jail.  And right now, the corrupt elites control most of the levers of power.  So, what can be done?

Before I get into the weeds of an approach, I want to ask a question.  How successful was the Canadian trucker Freedom Convoy?  For those who may have forgotten, the Freedom Convoy was a truly grassroots uprising against Canada’s draconian COVID tyranny.  In January 2022, Canadian truckers had enough of lockdowns and other COVID restrictions. They banded together in a massive convoy and headed for Ottawa. How did that end?

Trudeau responded with a brutal crackdown, arresting many, threatening to take away their children and, even worse, working with banks to impoverish the truckers and their supporters. Trudeau demonstrated to the world just how authoritarian a communist regime could be in this digital age.

So, were the truckers defeated?  The media would like you to think so.  And most of us thought so.  But that would be wrong!  The truckers won and won big!  In fact, according to a person who goes by the Twitter handle of CatGirl (Anarchonomicon), the Freedom Convoy was “the most wildly, immediately successful protest in Canadian history, maybe WORLD history.”

Let’s remember the media tries to control the flow of information.  They can do this in a variety of ways.  The media can slant coverage, can imply something that doesn’t exist and can spin narratives out of whole cloth.  Another way they try to control the information flow is by what they do not report.

One recent example of this is the manifesto of the Nashville shooter who shot up Covenant School.  I am guessing the manifesto shows just how deranged the fake man was.  This would not help the narrative that fake men and fake women need to be protected from evil cisgender people.  So, it has been suppressed.  Eventually it may be released at a time when the public will be distracted by other events.

Getting back to the Freedom Convoy, the media wanted everyone to think that resistance was futile.  Not so. To quote CatGirl:

What people don’t remember is what happened in the immediate aftermath: The government caved on absolutely everything within a week for the most important things, and then a month or so for the rest.

There was a massive political shift as well.  The Premiere of Alberta, Canada’s most conservative province, was forced out.  He was replaced by a politician who was anti-lockdown.  Alberta immediately lifted its lockdown restrictions.

The leadership of the Conservative Party was ousted.  New leadership included politicians who were among the first to embrace the Freedom Convoy.

Trudeau used the Emergencies Act to crack skulls in the Freedom Convoy.  However, within a week of its invocation, Parliament had to approve its use.  The House of Commons got onboard with Trudeau.  The Canadian Senate became recalcitrant.  With the deadline approaching and no passage in sight, Trudeau caved and withdrew the Act.

Canadian Finance Minister Crystia Freeland was positively drooling over the chance to hunt down Convoy supporters and impose top-down control over all financial activity in the country.  That didn’t happen.

All of this was the direct result of protests in sub-zero temperatures during the coldest month of the year.  So much for the idea that protests by the Silent Majority will always fizzle out and be ineffective.

As a matter of fact, Canada withdrew its COVID restrictions faster than the United States.

These kinds of grassroots protests (think Yellow Vests in France, the Dutch Farmers, the J6 protesters) scare the daylights out of our entrenched politicians who feed at the public trough.  That is why the DOJ is still actively hunting people who were in Washington on January 6, 2021.  They are trying to squelch this kind of protest through the use of fear.  It isn’t working.

Getting back to our own country, can this approach work here?  I would venture to say that it is already working here.  The Bud Light boycott shows that Americans can sustain a protest against evil.  The Left initially said that it wouldn’t last, that sales would return to normal in a couple of weeks.  Well, that has not happened.  The loss of sales has deepened.  Who would have thought just two months ago that Mexican beer would be the number one selling beer in America?  But, it has happened.

There are other examples in the retail space where this is happening.  Target is one.  So-called Pride displays have been reduced in size and moved to less visible locations in many stores.  The displays have disappeared from some stores altogether.  Their stock value has dropped 15%.  I would ask again why does Pride get a month-long celebration when there is only one Memorial Day, one Mother’s Day, etc.?  Why are people coerced into celebrating this life style?  It is time to pushback against this insanity.

If the people are going to take back control of the country from the fat cats who imbibe at the public trough, terrorism or concerted and continual pressure works.  One is, of course, illegal.  But it does work.  9/11 has screwed the average American in many ways not the least of which is air travel.  The omnipresent surveillance state is a direct result of 9/11.

Some mass shooters have stated in various manifestos (BTW where is the Nashville manifesto?) that their intention was to fan the flames for gun confiscation.  How many times has the Left immediately jumped up to demand guns be taken away from Americans?  Has some legislation or other regulation made its way into existence because of this?

Terrorizing people about a virus that is similar to the flu resulted in a stolen election.  I rest my case about terrorism.

We are patriotic Americans.  Can we succeed in effecting change through mass protests that apply continual and concerted pressure?  I believe that answer is yes.  I believe the route to that success is to point out the obvious.  The Democrats support the grooming of our children and grandchildren into sexual perversion.

It needs to start with, as it already has, the withdrawal of your business on a mass basis from any commercial outlet that subscribes to this insanity..  It should not be a one-off but rather a long-term or even permanent basis.  How many Bud Light drinkers will never again buy Bud Light?  This is the way to do and it is perfectly legal.  And, by the way, it is also peaceful.

I have argued consistently that fighting against the “transgender” movement is a winner for conservatives. Once people have children, they become very protective of them and do not want their son’s weird, pierced, blue-haired kindergarten teacher to convince him he’s really a girl and, oh, by the way, don’t tell your mommy and daddy that. Ron DeSantis’s decisive victory in Florida indicates that the policy is a winner (with Glenn Youngkin’s 2020 Virginia victory suggesting the same).

Let’s remember that DeSantis squeaked to victory in 2018 and then demolished the Democrats in 2022.  Not only that but he turned Florida a solid red.  How did he accomplish this?  He went to war against the left’s ideological and physical assaults against American children. Minorities may hew to the Democrat party, but they’re also the ones who are more, not less, likely to support traditional, binary human sexuality.

The Democrats support the teaching of sexual perversion to our children.  They are all in on drag queen story hours for kids as young as five.  They have taken to calling pedophiles as “minor attracted persons.”

People are fighting back against this lunacy.  Recently in California a group of Armenian Christian parents showed up to a school board meeting to protest the inclusion of pornographic content like  Let’s Talk About It: in the school library.  When the local Antifa thugs were unleashed to chase these parents away, Antifa found out the hard way that parents can be very aggressive when defending their children.

A group of Muslim parents joined parental and religious freedom advocates to protest a Maryland school system’s new policy that removes the parents’ authority to opt their children out of coursework that promotes homosexuality and transgenderism.

Maryland law requires that school districts allow parents to opt their children out of coursework that deals with “family life and human sexuality.”  The school district side-stepped this in March when it decided that reading materials that discuss subjects related to homosexuality, transgenderism, and other aspects of gender ideology are not a part of “family life and human sexuality instruction.”   Books that discuss subjects related to homosexuality and transgenderism have been approved for students as young as 3 or 4 years old.

These board members need to be exposed for the stand they are taking.  This has nothing to do with diversity and inclusion.  It is all about grooming the children.  As many a leftist teacher has said, “Parents have no rights when their children are sent to school.”

This past week the senile occupant of the White House railed against legislation that would bar the mutilation of children under the guise of “gender-affirming” care.  Biden did this at a White House ceremony celebrating “Pride Month.”  Once again I ask, “why do we need a month to “celebrate?”

Grooming kids and exposing them to sexual deviancy is very wrong.  The Republicans have a lever that could be very powerful when it comes to election time.  Make every candidate for office answer a question to where they stand in relation to the mutilation of children by chopping off penises and carving off breasts.

This approach could swing a lot of elections.
