Odds & Ends

Climate protesters decided to shut down a road leading to Burning Man Festival in Nevada.  It turns out that the location they chose was on the Paiute Tribe’s Reservation.  Out West it is sometimes difficult to know when you are on tribal lands.  The result for the protesters was a far cry from what they expected.

If they were in some liberal enclave, they expect to be treated with kid gloves for violating the law because they “are climate protesters.”  That did not happen as tribal police took aggressive action against a group of anti-capitalist climate protesters on Sunday.

The traffic jam reportedly stretched for miles.  A video showed a Ranger truck with its lights on and sirens blaring driving alongside the road to get around the traffic.  The tribal police took a no-nonsense approach to this violation of the law and infringement on the rights of other people.

As can be seen in the Twitter video, rangers from the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Police Department of Nevada drove up to the blockade, slowed down and then drove through it.  After this they began quickly arresting demonstrators.  One woman who decided to confront the officer was the first to feel steel on her wrists

Footage posted online shows one man telling activists that they were on ‘public property’ and had to ‘move the f***ing mess’.  Activists then tell him to call the authorities if they want them to move.

One woman can be seen chaining herself to the trailer as one of the protesters gets in another man’s face, saying: ‘This is a democracy, we have a right to protest’.  This is true, of course.  However, when one violates the law, one also has the right to be arrested.  Apparently this fact was not understood by the activists.

The videos have garnered many millions of views online with a majority of people supporting the actions of the tribal police.

There has been a shooting in Jacksonville, Florida by a bad man.  Apparently a mentally deranged person (are there any other kinds involved in mass shootings outside of a war zone?) who did not like minorities shot and killed three people, two black men and one white woman.  How do we know he did not care for minorities?  He had a manifesto, apparently several of them and they have already been released by the police.

Big Media has taken delight in publishing these since they are in agreement with the narrative that America is systemically racist and that black people are hunted every day in America.

My question is this.  When will the Nashville shooter’s manifesto be made public?  Why hasn’t it been done so already?  What in the manifesto does not line up with the approved narratives for Big Media?  Are Big Pharma’s profits from psychotropic drugs threatened by such revelations?  Is the DOJ’s Community Relations Service in the middle of this suppression?

Colorado Springs, Colorado – A Colorado school came up with ridiculous excuses to remove a 12-year-old student from class Monday for having the patriotic Gadsden flag patch on his backpack.

Connor Boyack, the President of Libertas, revealed that the Vanguard School in Colorado Springs told 12-year-old Jaiden (last name withheld) that he had to remove the flag because it has “origins with slavery” and was “disruptive to the classroom environment.” When he refused, the child was dismissed.

The reason?  According to the administrators, the flag had its origins in slavery.  The flag has absolutely nothing to do with slavery, and thus, there is no reason why this symbol should alarm students. Ridiculous.

The news gets more asinine, though. The Vanguard School later admitted the Gadsden flag did not originally have a racial context, but claimed without evidence racists have successfully hijacked its meaning.  They banned it under a rule covering drugs, tobacco, weapons, and alcohol.  Really!

Just another example of a school administration wallowing in their own wokeness.
