Highlights & Lowlights

Recently Candace Owens gave a speech at the University at Albany.  Owens was taking part in Turning Point USA’s Live Free Tour.  During the question-and-answer portion of the program, one student asked: “What do you have to say to the trans students on this campus who feel actively victimized by your presence here?”

Enough said.

Recently Joe Biden’s attempts at climbing the stairs into Air Force were transformed into an Olympic event.  The stairs have proven to be an insurmountable nemesis for Biden during his time in office.

When will the event “Walking off Stage” be held?

That didn’t take long.  The representative who pulled the fire alarm to stop the vote on funding the government is calling on the United States to take in Palestinian refugees from Gaza. Of course, these people are surrounded by Arab countries, but none of them are taking them in. Why should America?  Perhaps the better question is why won’t those Arab countries take them?

Democrat New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman has called on the United States to “welcome” Palestinian refugees as experts predict that one million people fleeing the Gaza Strip will need new homes.

So, we are supposed to welcome people are fine with extermination of the Jews and, oh, by the way, would be fine with killing Christians.

What New York House district does this person claim to represent?  Perhaps these refugees could be sent there.

The voters are scaring the crap out of the Republicans in the House.  The opposition to Jim Jordan’s nomination for Speaker in the House is crumbling, as the phones, emails and fax machines of Republicans are being lit up by voters demanding support.  Of course, the threat of being primaried by the voters is helping.

Jordan has vowed to take his nomination to a House floor vote and force the Republican Party to take a stand. This is a solid strategy that puts any no vote against the will of those who elected them.

We live in interesting times.
