Trajectories

If there is one thing most elite politicians understand it is trajectories.  By trajectories, I mean the general trend of where history is headed.  This will often allow a politician to “evolve” on issues.  In the Republican Party, one of the clearest purveyors of trajectory thinking is Lindsey “Weather Vane” Graham, the Republican Senator from South Carolina.  Once Lindsey figures out where the prevailing sentiment on an issue is headed, he will most likely stake out a position in that direction.

Now when I talk about this, I am not saying that all politicians move in the direction of prevailing public sentiment.  However, a good politician recognizes trajectories and moves to reduce his exposure if he disagrees with that sentiment.  This may include public disagreement with such sentiments.  On the other hand, when he detects something moving in the direction that he favors, he may jump on the bandwagon.

This is the so-called “arc of history” that former President Obama was so fond of quoting in order to garner emotional support for the communist policies that he espoused.  Most Democrats when pressed on an issue may retreat to some “arc of history” argument that has no relevance to the issue at hand.

That being said trajectories are real.  The 2024 Presidential election campaign is spotlighting one such trajectory.  That trajectory is the absolute pummeling that PDJT is giving to the whole field in the Republican primary.

Donald Trump holds a commanding 67% lead over all other GOP candidates.  No other candidate is breaking into double digits.  Let this polling result [DATA HERE] sink in. PDJT is commanding more than twice the number of votes as ALL OTHER CANDIDATES COMBINED!

Those politicians not completely in bed with the Deep State recognize what is happening.  More than a dozen Republican governors have already endorsed PDJT.  The most recent was Greg Abbott (TX) while PDJT was visiting Texas recently.

However, this movement is not confined to the narrow field of hard-core Republicans.  The country as a whole is awakening from the slumber that has cost us so much in individual liberties.

Voters in Charleston, SC have chosen former State Representative William Cogswell to lead the city as its next mayor.  Unofficial results from the South Carolina Election Commission show Cogswell defeated incumbent John Tecklenburg, earning about 51 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s runoff election.

What’s so special about this?  Cogswell is a Republican.  Cogswell becomes the first Republican in the Charleston mayor’s office since 1877!

South of the equator saw another protocol-shattering election.  Conservative Javier Milei overcame the Peronist machine and the MSM opposition. After decades of Marxist and socialist rule, Argentinians elected Milei in a blowout result.

Reuters noted:

“Argentina elected libertarian outsider Javier Milei as its new president on Sunday, rolling the dice on an outsider with radical views to fix an economy battered by triple-digit inflation, a looming recession and rising poverty. Official results have not been released, but his rival, Peronist Economy Minister Sergio Massa, conceded in a speech. His candidacy was hampered by the country’s worst economic crisis in two decades while he has been at the helm.

Milei is pledging economic shock therapy. His plans include shutting the central bank, ditching the peso, and slashing spending, potentially painful reforms that resonated with voters angry at the economic malaise, but sparked fears of austerity in others.

If the conservative wins by 12 points, according to “official results,” then the conservative probably won by twice that amount.  This is because the Satanist Leftists always cheat and always win when it’s close.

Sound familiar?  We have seen such elections in other countries during the last few years.  Italy comers to mind immediately.  People are tired of being serfs to the ruling elite.

The arc of history is bending in the direction of individual freedoms triumphing over Marxist and socialist dictatorships.  Let’s keep that ball rolling.
