Totalitarianism strikes in Florida.  The true threat to the demise of our democracy lies with the Democrats, not Donald Trump.

The Florida Democratic Executive Committee has announced that the upcoming primary election ballot will only feature the name of Joe Biden. This excludes any potential challengers within the party.  How is this democratic?

The primary serves as a platform for party members to choose their preferred candidate for the general election.  How can that happen if no other candidates are permitted on the ballot?  The Florida primary will not accommodate write-in candidates either.  This means that Democratic voters disenchanted with Biden’s performance will be without a recourse to express their dissent by voting.

This is communism at work.  It supports RFK, Jr’s assertion that the DNC is making it difficult if not impossible to challenge the senile one in the White House.

Chairman Xi would be proud.

Male cyclists have once again stolen victories in a competition that was originally intended for women in the Illinois State Cyclocross Championship this past weekend.

“Tessa” Johnson, 25 and “Evelyn” Williamson, 30 were declared the 1st and 2nd place winners. The only real woman to place in the top three was Kristin Chalmers.

Why are men being allowed to compete in events that are supposed to be for women only?

Hillary Clinton gave a speech at COP28, the current version of the global warming scam supported by the UN.

Hillary Clinton noted that “extreme heat” has killed half a million people, most of them women and girls, but failed to cite any actual source.  COP28 is perhaps one the few places on earth where Clinton could make such a statement and not be laughed off the stage.

I am sure that Al Gore is there somewhere applauding this insanity.

Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7 clearly caught the Israeli military unprepared. But somebody seemingly knew about the attack in advance and made billions betting against Israeli shares traded locally and on Wall Street five days before the attack.

Short-selling Israeli shares – betting that they will fall – spiked in the days before October 7, far exceeding the short selling during “numerous other periods of crisis,” Robert J. Jackson, Jr., Joshua Mitts and colleagues wrote in a paper titled “Trading on Terror?”published Sunday on SSRN.

Did Hamas somehow benefit from this action?

When will Ukraine get rid of Zelenskyy and sue for peace?  The headlines keep getting worse for Ukraine.  The Hamas war has pushed coverage of the war in Ukraine off the frontpage.  It hasn’t gotten any better over there.  Russia is well dug in in strategic positions and continues to ramp up their military preparedness.  Ukraine ran out of their own money a long time ago and may soon see much of their foreign aid money dry up.

We need to keep pressure on Congress not to waste any more money over there.

One of those items of the Hamas war that I have discussed with a fair number of people is flooding the tunnels where Hamas hides out.  Reports are now coming out of the war indicating that this may happen soon.

Israel has assembled a system of large pumps to flood Hamas’s vast network of tunnels under the Gaza Strip with seawater.  The Israel Defense Forces finished assembling large seawater pumps roughly one mile north of the Al-Shati refugee camp around the middle of last month. Each of at least five pumps can draw water from the Mediterranean Sea and move thousands of cubic meters of water per hour into the tunnels, flooding them within weeks.

In my opinion it could not happen too soon.  Pump in the water and flush out the crap just like with an enema.  This may be the safest approach for true civilians in Gaza.
