Too Predictable

As predictable as the sun coming up in the east, those who seek permanent power in Washington are starting another war.  Multiple analysts had indicated that Yemen, a country that our State Department has sent $5.4 billion over the last few years, would become a target of our military.

Sundance notes:

We are now going to begin military operations against elements within Yemen as part of something called “Operation Prosperity Guardian,” a new international effort deal with Houthi threats.”  As this war front is initiated, ask yourself what we spent $5.4 billion to achieve in Yemen, if we are now forced to use the U.S. military.

Given the scale of dedicated U.S. naval and air military resources in the region, direct engagement with Yemeni “terrorists” was always certain.  This will expand the overall conflict zone and pull the U.S. into ancillary combat missions.  Please pay no attention to the State Dept/CIA assets on the ground in Yemen who are likely coordinating the appearance of direct targeting from the “terrorists.”  Yeah, we do that.

As a result of the USA (and any ally stupid enough to believe the effort) shadowboxing ourselves in Yemen, Iran and the various proxies will likely not respond there.  However, U.S. military personnel deployed in Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq will likely come under fire.

The American public has grown tired of seeing billions spent on Ukraine, and the administration is having a difficult time maintaining support.  Waging war against a near-peer in Russia has proved to be much more challenging than the media would have us believe.  The administration needs an easy win against an “enemy” that has likely been funded by us just as ISIS was.

Measures are pending in Congress over support for continuous warfare.  The Houthi threat is designed to provide politicians with cover for authorizing funds to be spent in the area.  Think Gulf of Tonkin.

Throughout the EU, this is also the consensus opinion of the ordinary European.  That is, why are we throwing money down an endless chasm in Ukraine?  Just where is the money going?  In addition, very organized protests begin in Germany, Holland and Poland challenging the New World Order, the WEF and NATO.

How can the elites neutralize this threat?  Create a common enemy and a bigger crisis. Say that we are just defending ourselves while we supply the dollars needed for starting this exercise.  Rally the public against an existential threat that does not exist.  Such activity creates social cohesion and consensus as demanded by corporate media.

At the same time make sure the narrative is that the protests in these EU countries are the work of far-right extremists rather than everyday public.  The next time someone suggests that the far-right is behind these protests, ask them to define the Far-Right, to give an actual definition.  No anecdotes like, “It’s Trump.”  Definitions, please.

Is this just another lame attempt to boost Biden’s sagging poll numbers?  How many more people will die to prop up his numbers?
