Trump is now two for two. Despite being outspent by Haley roughly 2 to 1, Trump posted a win in a state where the pros had said that Haley had a good chance for a landslide victory just a few short months ago. Both candidates will move on to Nevada and South Carolina.
Approximately 70% of the people who voted for Haley were not registered Republicans. It appears that many Democrats “crossed over” to vote in the Republican primary.
Since NH requires a valid reason for casting a absentee mail-in ballot, most voters voted in person. Delegates are awarded by on proportionality of the vote count.
Some more tidbits.
President Trump has broken the record for the highest vote percentage as a share of the overall population in a New Hampshire Presidential Primary, surpassing the record of 11.32% set by @BernieSanders in 2016. Currently, it’s 11.6% and on its way to 12%.”

A quick analysis seems to be that the grassroots support for Trump is growing and swamped the crooked corporate support for Haley. This also seems to undermine the Haley campaign approach of trying to get Democrats to “cross over” in states that allow an open primary.
NH Dem: “I voted for Nikki Haley as a vote against Trump”
CNN: “If it was Haley vs. Biden who would you vote for?”
NH Dem: “Biden.”
There you have it. Nikki Haley’s “electability” argument is completely gone pic.twitter.com/xlWrfgPTji

This underscores the fact that AFP (that’s the Koch brothers PAC that has been running all those pro-Haley ads) is wrong that Haley will fare well against Biden in a general election matchup.
The narrative from Haley sycophants is “She did better than expected, so that’s a win!” She only “did better than expected” because of all the Democrats trying to push her to victory who have no intent of voting for her in the general, and that accounts for a lot of her votes!
If you remove them from the equation and look only at those who would actually vote for her as president, then she lost bigly. Trump, on the other hand, we know that 100% of those who voted for him in the primary will also vote for him in the general election
