Gas prices to rise.

April 8 (Reuters) – Mexico’s state energy company, Pemex, is planning to cut at least 330,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude exports in May, leaving customers in the United States, Europe and Asia with a third less supply from Mexico.

Mexico is targeting energy self-sufficiency.  Pemex has no other option if it is to meet this need.  It is expected that Mexico will export some 10 to 14 million fewer barrels of oil in May.

A tighter market means higher prices for US customers.  And let’s be reminded that Biden sold off the strategic petroleum reserve to try to win the 2022 elections.

Just how far will prices rise?

The cancel culture is out and about.  Certain groups are already calling for the Francis Scott Key Bridge to be renamed, claiming that Key is a racist figure.  This was predicted to happen almost as soon as the bridge collapsed into the water.

This is part and parcel of the Left approach to governance.  Erase history so that the Left’s version of history is the only one people hear.

It appears that there are issues with Biden being on the ballot in at least two states.  Ohio and Alabama each have statutory dates for certifying a presidential candidate that are earlier than the Democratic National Convention which is scheduled for August 19th.

The convention is later than normal.  Usually, such conventions have been held in July.  Apparently, this year the idea of Democratic leaders is to keep Joe Biden out of the spotlight of campaigning as much as possible.  Thus, the extraordinary later date for the convention.

Sounds like someone did not do their homework.  I guess when the fix is in, you do not worry about details like certifying your candidate for the election.

Gas prices continue to climb in the US under Joe Biden.

If you feel squeezed, it may be because gas prices are double today what they were under President Trump four years ago.

And, as the man would say, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

Former DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile appeared on ABC News This Week on Sunday and complained that when Joe Biden speaks nobody listens.

That’s not completely true.  Lots of people listen.  They just know that Biden is usually lying about this and that and pay him no mind.

Maybe that’s what Brazile really meant.

California insanity continues unabated.

Stores throughout greater San Francisco have been closing for months. Major retailers have pulled up stakes and departed, as well as have pharmacies and grocery stores. All mainly due to crime and theft.

Whole Foods closed its Market Street location last year after there were 568 emergency calls lodged in a 13-month period due to incidents such as vagrants throwing food, yelling, fighting and attempting to defecate on the floor, according to the New York Times.  How many of these calls resulted in arrests?  14.

Now lawmakers in the city want to allow residents to sue grocery stores for closing.  Yes, that’s right.  The idiots running San Francisco want to allow people to sue if a grocery store that is going bankrupt due to the city’s governance decides to not continue operating.

This is completely backwards. The city could stop all of the theft tomorrow if they wanted to by simply enforcing the law. Then the stores wouldn’t close in the first place. But then the cancel culture worker bees would swarm out and complain about the unjust treatment of thugs, looters, etc.

It is no wonder that people continue to leave California.

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin blamed Monday’s solar eclipse, Friday’s earthquake and the expected cicada breeding season on “climate change.”

“All those things together would maybe lead one to believe that either climate change exists or something is really going on,” she said Monday.

A short while later NASA’s Rover was seen on stage looking for intelligent life.
