The NYTimes is shocked, shocked I tell you, to find that corruption has been going on in Ukraine. It is as if the Times had no idea that Ukraine has one of the most corrupt governments in the world and has been for a long time.
Of course, there’s no mention in the article of the fact that a boatload of US senators have received money via the Ukrainian corruption pipeline.
Zelensky’s Government Sabotaged Oversight, Allowing Corruption to Fester
Ukraine has no money. Any money they have is received from various Western governments. In this country US money is coming back to the US political establishment after being laundered through Ukraine. Just how many political elites benefit from this arrangement?
Wasn’t this always part of the scam right from the beginning? And the US couldn’t have prevented it? Those who voted for “aid” to Ukraine didn’t know they’d be helping themselves to the money, too? Why else would you send all that money to one of the top world centers of money laundering—for decades?
Let’s be reminded that when the Ukraine aid was being debated by the Congress there were some who wanted accountability of how the funds would be spent. Many Congressmen objected. Why? Didn’t want to interrupt the cash flow?
But the NYTimes is shocked
