America vs EU/NATO

No Comments on America vs EU/NATO

As I noted recently, Trump is remaking the structure of alliances around the world.  The making of new alliances where each member of the alliance is responsible for their own country is a bedrock principle of PDJT.  Trump’s Board of Peace is one very clear example of this.  What is notable about the Board of Peace is who is not on it.  That would be the EU, UK and NATO.

How is this impacting the war in Iran?  The EU, Britain and NATO have been sidelined.  They have no seat at the table.  In the meantime, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt have convened in Islamabad, Pakistan to open a US-Iran dialogue.  Trump has named VP JD Vance as America’s lead negotiator.

Naming Vance is another indicator of Trump’s strategy in the Iran war.  Vance is strongly opposed to the forever war syndrome that has been the hallmark of past administrations.  Vance aligns with Trump’s view that America is not in Iran for regime change despite what Israel’s intentions may be.

When one looks at Venezuela, one sees the same approach.  Maduro was ousted but America did not install a new government.  Venezuela, as a country, has decided how to move forward.

This brings us around the objectives of the current hostilities in Iran.  This administration has been consistent about the fact that they are not in this for regime change.  They would not oppose such a thing but they are not there to make it happen.  Now one could argue that Israel wants regime change.  And that is probably true.  However, the fact that two nations united against Iran might have different objectives is hardly surprising.

The presence of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan, Muslim nations, as principal negotiators to defuse and eventually end this war with Iran is remarkable in its own right.  And these people are not there to manage the conflict.  They are there to end it.

Something very big is happening.  The binary choices of Left vs Right, war vs anti-war are being shattered.  The world is being re-arranged right before our eyes and the EU, Britain and NATO are not part of the action.  The Iran conflict represents a complete break with some six decades of American foreign policy.

There has already been a major step forward as Iran agreed to allow 20 more ships to pass through the Straits of Hormuz.

Please note the list of people that this announcement was directed to.  No one from Europe or NATO was included.  This happened because the old “managers” were not in the room.  It also happened because of who was in the room for America, JV Vance.

Vance will represent American interests and specifically American interests in not fighting a forever war.  This does not mean that Trump and his administration are looking for some mealy-mouthed exit from this war.  This has been the chant of left-wing orators who have no real idea of just what is happening in the world.

The administration has objectives that will probably be achieved within a couple of more weeks.  These include the obliteration of Iran’s nuclear bomb aspirations as well as their ability to terrorize the world.  It appears that many objectives have already been achieved with others well along to completion.

If Iran cannot achieve a deal with Vance, then a deal will not happen.  The economy in Iran is teetering on collapse.  It would seem that the stars are aligning for a significant restructuring of the Middle East landscape.  And that would be one that would move away from “managed”
conflicts to one where economics would dictate a better life for all.

All of this is happening with the EU and Britain sitting on the sidelines.  And that is good.  If Ukraine has taught us anything, it is that war is a driver of policy for these people.
