It was recently announced that VP JD Vance would head up a demolition derby that is responsible for rooting out fraud across the country. Arrests have begun in California.
The Guardian confirmed that the LA raids had already started. Federal agents in Los Angeles arrested suspects in a $50 million healthcare and hospice fraud operation even before Trump’s announcement went up.

Somebody once said, go where the money is if you want to know what is going on. Where is the money? As it turns out, California may be the literal “Kingdom of Fraud.” Sorry, Minnesota, your efforts pale in comparison with what lurks below the surface in California.
VP JD Vance is now the “Fraud Czar.” This is not a ‘working group’ empowered to study and recommend future best practices. As the recent arrests indicate, this is a working machine led by the Vice President of the United States. Vance will be personally accountable for the results.
The DOJ initiative is called “Operation Never Say Die.” which is hilarious when you see the first arrests coming in a scam involving hospice payments. Fox News notes: “The administration is currently investigating whether state officials or insiders facilitated these schemes through ‘malpractice or malfeasance.’”
Bill Essayli, the Acting US Attorney who led Operation Never Say Die, said, “I call Gavin Newsom the ‘King of Fraud’ because he reigns over more fraud than we’ve seen in the history of the United States.” Perhaps the “No Kings” protesters need to camp out on Newsom’s doorstep.
What is Newsom’s record on hospice fraud? Dr. Oz said, “the governor of California had shut down four hospices. We just shut down seven in one night.” Not only that but in 10 weeks, over 200 hospices had been shut down in Los Angeles. There are 1800 hospices in California. How many will survive the audits being conducted?
How will this all end? For certain, PDJT is corralling the healthcare issue for the Republicans. The Democrats are defending a system that is being exposed as a handout to favored political allies. These fraudsters are stealing money that should be used to care for vulnerable senior citizens. Just who is taking away Medicare and pushing grandma off a cliff?
The timing on all of this could not be better. And with the change at the top of the DOJ we should see an even stronger push to rein in this thievery.
