There is an ongoing attack that is trying to fracture the MAGA movement. Despite all that PDJT has accomplished, the approach is to find ways to separate followers from the movement. This includes stirring people up about there being few indictments of evil individuals. The American people want justice and Pam Bondi’s deliberate slowness has caused potential cases to expire due to the statute of limitations.
Another approach surfaced for everyone to see recently when on April 9 Pope Leo XIV cleared time in his busy schedule to meet with, of all people, Barack Obama’s Jewish strategist David Axelrod.
What was the meeting about? It appears that it was to coordinate the Vatican’s ongoing attack on the GOP in the months leading up to the 2026 midterms. On April 10, the day after the Axelrod meeting, CBS announced its was scheduling an “unprecedented” joint interview with three liberal American cardinals to air on April 12. Coincidence?
Let’s be reminded that Catholics represent a significant majority in the MAGA movement. Polls estimated that some 56% of Catholics voted for PDJT in the last election and that percentage was higher among those considered “church- going.” It would appear that the Vatican will attempt to peel away Catholics from the movement by inferring sinfulness.
Watching the three Cardinals gave a preview into the approaches to be taken. On 60 Minutes, the Cardinals piled on. The openly leftist Blase Cupich, whom Leo appointed Cardinal, called Trump’s social media posts about the war “sickening” and “dehumanizing.” Nothing was mentioned about the tens of thousands of Iranians who have been murdered by the regime.
Cardinal Robert McElroy badly mischaracterized the administration’s illegal alien removal. Once again there was no mention of the evil that had been allowed into the country by the open borders policy.
Jack Cashill notes:
No one mentioned abortion, which claimed more than a million unborn Americans in 2025 alone. No one mentioned the young lives destroyed by “gender affirming therapy.” No one mentioned the scores of Americans murdered by illegal immigrants. No one even mentioned Sheridan Gorman, the Catholic college student murder last month in Cupich’s backyard.
Abortion is considered to be one of the most heinous sins in Catholicism. It is one of the Church’s unchanged and unchangeable prohibitions. Despite this the Democrats including Catholics like Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden, have made abortion into a sacred ritual. Were the cardinals asked about this? They were not.
Most traditionalist priests believe that, on the issue of abortion alone, one cannot vote for a Democrat. Depriving an innocent human being of life from conception on is “always morally evil,” said Saint Pope John Paul II. “We are dealing,” said the Pope bluntly, “with murder.”
Who is Pope Leo XIV? He is the first American ever elected to the papacy. And he was a surprise choice at that. Jack Cashill notes:
Here I speculate, but I am confident history will prove me right: leftists within the Vatican selected Prevost, a blank slate, knowing they could bend him to their will. Better still, as an American, he could speak to the nation’s Catholics in a language they understood.
Pope Leo has proven his lack of moral courage on many occasions. In October, Leo was asked about the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria by Muslim extremists. The numbers reach into the many tens of thousands.
Said Pope Leo, “In certain areas there is certainly danger for Christians, but for all people. Christians and Muslims have been slaughtered. There is a question of terrorism. There is a question that has to do a lot do with economics.” I think Kamala Harris could have produced a better word salad.
In January the Islamic extremists who rule Iran cracked down brutally on the protests by their own people, killing at least 30,000. Some estimates run as high as 50,000. Did Pope Leo condemn this? No, he did not. He produced another word salad. When a Pope confronts evil, he is expected to condemn such evil. Jesus did not clear out the money changers in the Temple by politely asking them to leave.
Now it appears that the powers that be inside the Vatican have decided to interfere in the mid-terms in America. Why? The globalists who push Marxism and Communism are systematically being pushed out of power. This does not sit well inside the Vatican walls. Yes, walls. The Vatican is surrounded by walls. God forbid if one should breach such walls.
On the surface Pope Leo does not like the war in Iran. Leo appears to be ignorant of the reasons behind the war. The Twelver cult’s potential ability to obliterate the world seems not to exist within the confines of Pope Leo’s cognitive abilities.
How far will Pope Leo go to try to impact the elections in this country? Only time will tell. One can only hope that God will whisper in his ear the truth about capitalism and its origins in Christianity and that this will provide Pope Leo with the backbone to confront true evil.
