Everyone should be able to make their own decisions through their own research and feel comfortable that they weren’t influenced by others.
However, it’s become evident that in this senatorial race for the Republicans for the South Carolina Senate seat that was left vacant by Lindsey Graham’s sudden death, influence and coercion are happening on a scale greater than anything that I would have imagined.
Let me be plainly clear: this post is for the people who voted for Mark Lynch, Mark Sanford, Russell Fry, Danny Ford II, Mark McBride, Duke Buckner, Sam Shepherd or Glenda Parker.
You’ve already cast your vote once against the establishment and mega-donor, out-of-state-money-backed candidate, Darline Graham. Yes, that’s right. There has been a boatload of money coming in from out of state to promote the candidacy of Graham-Boggs-Nordone-Graham. Just what are these people trying to buy with such money?
For the 50,000 people who voted for Mark Sanford, you were probably voting for Mark because he was a familiar face in South Carolina, someone who was going to look out for South Carolina’s wallets and pocketbooks like he did when he was governor.
That speaks to what’s important to you.
If you voted for Russell Fry, it could be because Trump had previously championed Fry and publicly floated him as an “outstanding” possibility for this Senate seat. He’s young, he’s relatable and generally available to his constituents.
If you voted for Mark Lynch where he received approximately 20,000 votes, you were voting for a man with deep Christian values, a businessman and someone who challenges the way things are done.
And if you voted for Congressman Ralph Norman for Senate… if you were one of the 82,000 people who cast their vote for Ralph, you already know the kind of conservative, budget hawk, businessman and House Freedom Caucus member that he is.
So I ask you… if you voted for anyone other than Darline Graham, how can you not cast a vote for Ralph Norman today, August 25, in what is the final United States Senate special Republican primary in South Carolina?
Ralph Norman will immediately become the US Senate’s most conservative senator if South Carolina votes to send him to the US Senate.
The thing I love about Norman’s voting record is that he has never let conservatives down. Not once.
There is a reason Norman has all the gold standard conservative endorsements, including CPAC (Conservative Political Action Committee) and Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point Action.
I can’t imagine a scenario where Ralph Norman does not clinch the nomination tomorrow.
Of course, stranger things have happened. My concern is rooted in the fact that our President, as much as I admire him, is not perfect. And every time he puts his fingers on the scale in South Carolina, I think to myself, “What are you doing? You are not in touch with the people here.”
So if you are a true MAGA person, I’d like to take a moment to say I imagine we have these things in common:
If you are a Republican voting in tomorrow’s primary, you probably favor fiscal responsibility.
In 2023, Ralph Norman broke with Republican leadership to vote against the Fiscal Responsibility Act, which suspended the debt ceiling. Yes, the title of the bill was the opposite of what it really did.
In 2025, he voted YES on the Rescissions Act of 2025. Ralph voted to cancel approximately $9 billion in previously authorized federal spending, including foreign assistance and funding for public broadcasting.
As a Congressman, he is currently trying to eliminate congressional earmarks. In January, Norman reintroduced the Earmark Elimination Act, which would permanently ban federal earmarks across appropriations bills.
You probably are not a fan of spending money outside of the United States, particularly for the wars of other countries.
In 2024, Ralph voted NO on the Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, which provided roughly $60 billion for Ukraine.
Not necessarily because his position is anti-Ukraine, but because tens of billions of American dollars being spent overseas should be scrutinized. There was no way to track where the money was going. How was Zelenskyy’s wife able to spend over $40,000 in an afternoon shopping spree in Paris?
You likely are feeling financial pain to some degree and wish that at the end of the year there was more money in your bank account.
In 2017, he voted for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, increasing the standard deduction and expanding the Child Tax Credit, as well as making other significant changes to federal income taxes.
That was demonstrated again in 2025 when he voted for legislation that made the 2017 individual tax provisions permanent.
Be informed… not coerced.
If you’re against all of these things and you don’t agree with his voting record, then he’s not your guy.
But if you’re voting in the Republican primary and expect a senator with Republican and conservative values, particularly faith, freedom and family… and throw in fiscal responsibility… then ignore the psyop that is ongoing. Your vote belongs to Ralph Norman.
