The latest attempts by the EU and Ukraine to draw NATO and coincidentally America into the Ukraine-Russian war is to claim that Russia is instituting “hybrid attacks” on NATO members. Some examples of these supposed attacks include the Haile Leipzig airport attack where a quadcopter drone supposedly was there to attack NATO planes stored there. The attack “failed” because of a bad detonator wire.
Then there was the “attack” by a drone on Zelenskyy’s plane in Moldova. How is a drone crash 100 miles away in Chișinău an attack on Zelenskyy? Another example is the attack on a street vendor in Ukraine. Again this was done via a quadcopter.
There have been literally dozens of such “attacks” around the EU. Politico in deference to its masters is trying to fan the flames in the media over the “unconscionable” efforts of Russia. NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe U.S. Gen. Alexus Grynkewich has been asking Europe to prove these are Russian attacks news of which has raced around the world over and over. Politico has characterized this as NATO investigating “escalating hybrid threats.”
Let’s keep in mind that no attack has been pinned on Russia. The official position of NATO is “it sees no imminent threat of a Russian attack.” The European analysis that a Russian attack is imminent is a shiboleth. A mere canard designed to garner the support of naive Europeans and Americans that Russia still maintains the policies of the Soviet Union. Several of the EU-NATO countries are using political soundbites to designate Russia as the cause of any untoward incident that occurs in their country.
Let’s be reminded that all wars are about power and money. The EU needs a war to prop up the teetering economies of so many of its member states. Any “investigation” of such attacks by member states is bound to find Russian “influence.” To do otherwise would raise the spectacle of dozens of potentially false flag attacks or of narratives designed to fool the public.
Of course, none of these nations have ever taken an official position on these supposed hybrid attacks. It is always some low-level politician or bureaucrat who “leaks” to the media. The media then amplifies the message and it travels around the world at light speed many times before the denial catches up with it. Now where have we seen that strategy before?
