ATLANTA, GA — CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky held a press conference to warn the public about a deadly new “stealth” COVID-19 variant that causes negative test results and causes no symptoms.
“This deadly variant has bypassed our most sophisticated tests by ingeniously becoming harmless to the human body,” said Director Walensky, “It is estimated that eight billion people have caught this variant. We must prevent it from spreading further by closing schools and locking up kindergarten children.” ...

Slay News reported, “1,249 young healthy athletes have suffered sudden heart attacks or other serious issues since last year, disturbing new data has revealed.
“Among those to have fallen ill, a staggering 847 have died.
For comparison, the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland, studied documents from international data banks dated from 1966 to 2004.
In those 38 years of records, the documents show a total of 1,101 sudden deaths in athletes under 35 years of age.
I wonder what happened last year to cause this sudden catastrophic increase?
Thinking outside the box. Good problem solvers often can think well outside the norms. In the case of the Mar-a-Lago raid there appears to be a larger story going on. One has to look at the whole gamut of what is going on to fully appreciate that. What might seem to be one thing on the surface can turn out to be something else entirely.
Another example of the politicization of the law enforcement agencies in this country surfaced last week. Steve Bannon, an outspoken supporter of President Trump, was indicted on a litany of charges related to attempting to build a wall on the southern border.

In the past the headline below would have been a clear lead-in to a piece of satire. This kind of headline would be seen in places like Babylon Bee. The only problem with this one is that it is the truth.

Barack Obama was an adversary of American exceptionalism. Anti-exceptionalism clearly shaped his “leading from behind” profile abroad. Once in office his “hope and change” campaign slogan came to look like the “hope” of overcoming American exceptionalism and “change” away from it.
So, in Mr. Obama, America gained a president with ambivalence, if not some antipathy, toward the singular greatness of the nation he had been elected to lead.
In doing this, Obama ignored a singular example of American exceptionalism that occurred just a few short years before he entered the Oval Office as President.
