By now most people know that Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, purchased 9.2% of Twitter’s outstanding shares worth around $2.9 billion in early April. This made Musk the largest single shareholder of Twitter.
The purchase was a bit of a surprise since Musk had raised questions about the site’s free speech policy.
Hrand Tookman has been a source of insight into Democratic attempts to manipulate the public into believing anything and everything that would smear people who do not follow the Left’s ideology. As I have said and Tookman echoes, do not believe anything coming from our elite politicians without verifying it from independent sources. The same can be said about the so called news stories on Big Media platforms.
I have not written a whole lot about what is going on in Ukraine because there is almost no way to get accurate information. Russian State media runs propaganda for Putin. In Western countries, Big Media is little more than the same kind of propaganda arm. To quote one wag, the media here are just stenographers who repeat whatever the government elites tell them. The days of independent journalists digging out stories are gone.
Yesterday I stated that the government misled the public regarding the effectiveness of the jabs. It was deliberate and was done for a multitude of reasons. Not the least of these was the need in America to create a situation where rampant voter fraud could take place in the 2020 presidential election. But there were many other countries that followed the same playbook in locking down their citizens. In all countries the goal was to condition the public to blindly accept the diktats of political leaders. Dissent was not allowed.
Fifty years ago an intrepid journalist or two would go out and uncover the truth. Sometimes this led to a Pulitzer Prize. Today such journalists do not exist. Sunlight is provided by those intrepid people who go out and mine data on the Internet and then publish their results for anyone to see.
There is an old saying. Once you can see the strings on the marionettes, you can never unsee them. The same is true with governments. Once you see the lies and manipulation coming from governments, you can never unsee them.
On the other side of the coin, once you see the truth, you can never not see it. Justin Trudeau was seen as a young, brash politician who happened to be elected Prime Minister of a functioning democracy. How many people realized that he was a wannabee dictator after the likes of Fidel Castro and Xi Jinping? After his recent actions against the Freedom Convoy, how many people now realize this? This is truth that cannot be unseen.
It has become apparent that George Orwell’s 1984 is here. Full scale censorship of all news and information that is contrary to the interests of our corrupt leaders is upon us. They no longer attempt to hide this. YouTube has taken the next step in this process by trying to control news about the Ukraine conflict. Dr. Tom Woods has produced a post on this.
When the Left is successful in advancing their political ideology (one could argue just how successful they are in this country), there comes a time when the opposition must be muzzled. Compliant sheep are what is needed. Dissent undermines totalitarian control. This is why religion is so worrisome for communist states. The people would be listening to those who are not state actors.
Do not believe for one moment that governments have given up on a vaccine passport system. Australia is still experimenting and reviewing options for such a system. What they do in Australia will be exported around the world. Big Tech sees a lot of dollar signs just as Big Pharma did with the ill-advised vaccine hysteria. The time to stand up against this is now.
The video below (17 minutes) is an excellent presentation of the dangers freedom faces if such a system is implemented. Fascism from a slightly different perspective will be the result if governments are successful in implementing such a system.
For those who may not be aware of it (and many of you won’t be), the border crossing between Couts, Alberta, Canada and Sweet Grass, Montana in the US has been closed for some time. Was it closed by the Canadian government? No. Was it closed by the US government? No. It was closed by truckers supporting the Freedom Convoy currently occupying Ottawa. They formed a blockade and would not allow traffic to flow in either direction.
And so it begins. The Democrats have lied over and over and will continue to lie to the American public about what happened on January 6, 2021. They will call it a right-wing attack on democracy. The lapdog media will echo this. The Dems will falsely state that January 6th was a symptom of an even bigger problem. That problem was an attempt to delegitimize free and fair elections.
