Elsewhere on Capitol Hill last week, there were other appearances of the clown show that is the Democratic majority in the House of Representatives. Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), who has been a member of the House Financial Services Committee since 1991, was named chair of the committee in December.

Last week Ms. Waters showcased her ignorance in regards to the student loan crisis. She was grilling bank execs about how they were helping out with the student loan crisis.

The clown show has come back to Washington, DC. Former Secretary of State John Kerry, who was also a Senator from Massachusetts at one time, was on Capitol Hill Tuesday. He testified in front of the House Oversight Committee about the “threat” of climate change. Of course, by climate change science deniers like John Kerry mean global warming.

He borrowed a page from Al Gore’s scam, “An Inconvenient Truth,” and advocated for massive government intervention to “fix” the problem. He also borrowed a line from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in stating the world would end if we don’t do “something” to stop it. ...

How bad does the situation at the southern border have to be for Democrats to admit it’s an emergency? Are there any numbers of illegal border crossings into the United States that would cause Democrats to recognize an emergency?

Appearing Friday on Morning Joe, Jeh Johnson, DHS secretary during former President Barack Obama’s second term, was blunt in addressing the border crisis. He declared Friday the southern border is in a “crisis” state, a claim the Trump administration made last year.

For The People. Another Orwellian title to a piece of Congressional legislation. HR 1, the Democrat’s landmark piece of legislation, is “for the people” like banning firearms reduces crime. 1984 is upon us. Night is day. Day is night. The more accurate title would be Against The People.

HR 1 is designed to trample all over the God-given rights of Americans. The left-wing ACLU found this particular piece of legislation a few steps too far even for them.

Despite the obvious unconstitutionality of the legislation, the Democrats passed it in the House. The Democrats do not care whether it is unconstitutional or not. To the Democrats the Constitution is merely a piece of paper that can be ignored when it suits them.

One such event happened in Christchurch, New Zealand recently. It is also evidenced in unrestricted abortion and in denying newborns life-saving medical care.

Are the Democrats backing away from the “I” word? House Speaker Pelosi, who spent a lot of time planning the impeachment process since winning control of the House in November in the hopes of improving the Democrats’ chances in the 2020 presidential election, made an announcement on Monday.

[Nancy Pelosi] “I’m not for impeachment. This is news. I’m going to give you some news right now because I haven’t said this to any press person before. But since you asked, and I’ve been thinking about this: Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country. And he’s just not worth it.”

This is the Orwellian title of legislation (HR 1) proposed by Democrats in the House. It certainly does not reflect the intent of the legislation. HR 1 is “for the people” like Obamacare was “affordable.” The more accurate title is “For The Democratic Politicians.”

The first bill put forward by the majority party in a new session of Congress usually lays out that party’s agenda for the next two years. If that is the case, it seems that Speaker Pelosi and her fellow Democrats are prepared to trample all over the God-given rights of Americans. On Wednesday pro-Sharia law Rep. Rashida Tlaib announced plans to file an impeachment resolution against President Donald Trump. The Michigan Democrat aims to introduce the resolution in the coming weeks.

“For me, as a member of Congress, it’s so important that I make sure that I check this president. … It’s really important that the president of the United States is investigated,” Tlaib told CNN.
