The President Was Right…Again!

Once again the President has been shown to be right. A new study conducted by the Henry Ford Health System found that those COVID-19 patients given hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in a hospital setting were far less likely to die. The study covered 2,541 hospitalized patients.

CNN reported the “surprising” results. Dr. Marcus Zervos, division head of infectious disease for Henry Ford Health System, said,

“What we think was important in ours … is that patients were treated early. For hydroxychloroquine to have a benefit, it needs to begin before the patients begin to suffer some of the severe immune reactions that patients can have with Covid.”

Last week, historian David Blight and history student Griffin Black wrote a Washington Post op-ed headlined “Black people aren’t naturally vulnerable to COVID-19. That’s junk race science.”

The media is heavily complicit in the firestorm of fear surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. They blast out the total numbers every night trying to get people too scared to leave their homes or they might suffer a life-ending encounter with the virus. Of course, the numbers they blast out are highly suspect. When the cause of death is monetized (as it is with Medicare and Medicaid patients), the one that pays the most is going to wind up on line one of the cause of death. The COVID-19 mortality rates are actually very similar to the flu.

Governor Newsome of California decided to make celebrating the 4^th of July illegal. Amid a supposed new outbreak of the coronavirus, California’s Gavin Newsom was adamant that no firework celebrations be done on the Fourth of July. Several cities cancelled their planned celebrations of the country’s birth. Fireworks displays out in the streets such as we see in other states are illegal in California. In particular, Newsome targeted family gatherings. He told people not to attend gatherings with people who were not in their immediate family.

The Democrats have demonstrated once again that they are the party of anti-science. Science is sometimes useful to the Democrats if it advances their agenda of controlling the people of the country. If it isn’t, the Democrats, aided by their allies in the MSM, will invent “science” to support that agenda.

Pelosi Spreads Dangerous Mis-information

On Wednesday Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) went on Twitter and claimed that PDJT is urging people to “inject Lysol and drink bleach.” This claim came in response to the Trump administration efforts in court on Obamacare.

Where are Twitter’s fact-checkers? Why wasn’t this tweet red-flagged as dangerous to the public? It couldn’t be that Twitter is biased against Trump and Republicans, could it? If Twitter does not flag this while flagging conservative content, how can they be considered an open platform? Censoring some entries while permitting others should make them a publisher with the attendant liabilities. ...

Multiple media sources have announced that dexamethasone (DMS), a steroid, significantly reduces the risk of death in patients with severe respiratory complications. This is based on a study done in the UK. Results are expected to be published shortly. DMS is cheap, on the shelf and could be used to help patients worldwide now.

Once again the experts found themselves out of the ballpark when it came to predicting the state of manufacturing in America. Arched eyebrows are becoming “the thing” among economic experts. These numbers will give Nobel laureate Paul Krugman another opportunity to suggest that the numbers are fake.

After three months of broad weakness brought on by COVID-19 business shutdowns/slowdowns, the Manufacturing Index surged 48 points to a reading of negative 0.2 up from negative 48.5 in May.

You won’t read about this in the NYTimes. On June 2^nd, the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons (AAPS) filed a lawsuit, AAPS v. FDA, against the Food and Drug Administration to end its arbitrary interference with the use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)

HCQ has been approved as safe by the FDA for 65 years, and the CDC states on its website that “CDC has no limits on the use of hydroxychloroquine for the prevention of malaria.” It has been used in more than 400 FDA-approved clinical trials.
