The Democrats have demonstrated once again that they are the party of anti-science. Science is sometimes useful to the Democrats if it advances their agenda of controlling the people of the country. If it isn’t, the Democrats, aided by their allies in the MSM, will invent “science” to support that agenda.
On Sunday, Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) said that the country is “long overdue” for a national mask-wearing mandate to combat the novel coronavirus.
Pelosi was joined in this farce by presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden. Biden said that, if elected, he would use federal power to require Americans to wear face masks in public. In other words, Biden would remake America into China.
“The one thing we do know, these masks make a gigantic difference.”
This is a blatant lie. The Chinese wear masks every day because of the terrible air pollution. If masks stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus, then why did it spread like wildfire in Wuhan? Masks do not work.
Pelosi states that the reason there is no mandate is that the CDC does not want to offend the President. This is just another in a long line of attempts to blame the president for a virus that was unleashed on the world by China to advance China’s geopolitical plans. The Democrats are aiding and abetting those plans by trying to keep the country shut down.
Pelosi offers no scientific evidence for the use of masks. All she does is try to shame the President and others with inane remarks like “real men wear masks.” She refers to no study that shows that masks work. In fact, there are dozens of studies that demonstrate no statistically significant benefit to wearing a mask.
If Biden and Pelosi truly believe that there is this huge benefit to wearing a mask, why hasn’t Pelosi proposed such a law? If science was on her side, she could refer to clinical trials/studies that demonstrated the efficacy of mask wearing. She doesn’t. She can’t. They do not exist.
The basic reason that Pelosi has not proposed such a law is that she knows that forcing Americans to wear a mask would not pass. It would put the Democrats in an untenable position. That being that, despite a coordinated effort by the media to fool the public, most Americans understand that mask wearing as a preventative is nonsense. Masks do not block viruses.
Pelosi is just trying to shame and humiliate those who do not wear masks. Pelosi is trying to silence those who disagree with her. This is just another example of the Democrats believing that most common people are deplorables who need to be made into sheep.
It is time to push back against this nonsense.
