Perhaps no quote is more apropos for our times about what is going on in western countries right now. Bob Livingston has written an essay that pours sunlight on this idea.

As the leftist media has done so many times recently, they tried to change the definition of a word to suit their agenda. The word is “raid.” The leftist commentators thought the word was “too harsh” to be used in reference to the raid on PDJT’s home in Florida.
However, in a rare display of backbone, the Merriam-Webster people were unwilling to do so. The definition still includes “a sudden invasion by officers of the law.” Now one might quibble with the idea that FBI are actual officers of the law. However, at this moment they are still technically such. So, a raid is what it was.
With criticism mounting, The Babylon Bee published an article on Christopher Wray’s response.

The flag of a radical and violent group is placed next to the national flag on government buildings. Out of fear of being canceled and losing business, individuals and corporations succumb to publicly supporting this violent organization. Mandated behavior is compelled upon threat of arrest by the political elite and leadership. Despite objections from parents, schools begin teaching an alternative “history” and embrace prejudice, anti-Semitism, and sexual permissiveness as part of the school curriculum.
The Democrats are becoming more desperate by the hour. Democratic National Committee chair Jaime Harrison (he is the guy who spent $100M to lose to Lindsey Graham by double digit percentage points in 2020) is lashing out at Republicans trying to counter horrendous polls ahead of the 2022 midterms. He is desperately trying to label Republicans as fascists.
Here we go again. I am sure that Dr. Fauci will be running to the microphones to admonish the public about relaxing their guard over an imminently highly transmissible version of COVID. The latest variant labeled “XE” is being called the most infectious yet.
Do not believe for one moment that governments have given up on a vaccine passport system. Australia is still experimenting and reviewing options for such a system. What they do in Australia will be exported around the world. Big Tech sees a lot of dollar signs just as Big Pharma did with the ill-advised vaccine hysteria. The time to stand up against this is now.
