Mayorkas Called A Liar

Liz Cheney, the former representative in the House of Representatives from Wyoming, was soundly defeated in the Republican primary in 2022 by one Harriet Hageman.  In fact the defeat was historic with a relative unknown defeating an incumbent by almost 40mpoints.

Cheney was the epitome of a Deep State operative who believed that her position was a lifetime one and that she did not need to represent the people who had been persuaded to elect her to that position.

The Hunter Biden deal is mucking up the Democrats’ plans to take over the country and turn America into a one-party totalitarian government.  No one in the public was aware of just how shady the so-called deal was until Wednesday.  Thank God there was a competent judge on the bench, Judge Maryellen Noreika, who was not willing to be a pawn in their game.

Will Scharf, a former federal prosecutor, has provided an opinion on what he believes took place.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) abruptly froze at a press conference Wednesday before he was ushered away from the podium—raising questions about the 81-year-old lawmaker’s health months after he recovered from a concussion and broken rib from a fall at a Washington hotel.  McConnell later returned to the podium and said he was fine.

Odds & Ends

Democrats Threaten Violence

For anyone who has been paying the least bit of attention, once again the country is approaching its debt limit.  This has been talked about for several months.  The Democrats, who want to spend the country into oblivion, have refused to discuss the reining in of any spending on the part of the federal government.  Until very recently they have refused to entertain the idea of even talking about spending and any curtailments of that.

In the meantime, the Republicans have passed a bill extending the debt ceiling while incorporating cuts in some federal programs.  None of these cuts would affect the big programs like Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security.  The cuts did affect things like the 87,000 additional IRS agents that would be sent to harass middle America.

Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has refused to even consider such a bill in the Senate that would entail any decreases in federal spending or even slowing the increase in spending.  The Democrats seem to believe that they can do whatever they want to without there being any consequences for their recklessness.
