Slow Police Response

The Democrats have been calling for defunding and disbanding police departments around the country.  Despite Democratic campaign ads to the contrary, Joe Biden has been one of those politicians who has “absolutely” called for the defunding of the police.  Minneapolis has already voted to disband their police department.  Police departments in many urban centers have been neutered to the point where they are little more than posters on a wall.

On Monday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis introduced a new set of laws called the “Combating Violence, Disorder and Looting and Law Enforcement Protection Act.”  The intent is to stop any civil disorder that would affect the domestic tranquility for people in Florida.

It would appear that pandering to the mob is NOT on the agenda in Florida.  The official announcement can be seen here.  The thrust of the legislation is broken into three parts.

Eric Trump, one of PDJT’s sons, spoke at the Republican National Convention.  Eric outlined the movement that created the Trump presidency.  He called out the Democrats who hate America, who want to erase history and forget the past except when it suits their political objectives.

Eric pointed out the obvious when he said that the Democrats want to suppress free speech, that the only speech permitted is that which aligns with their thinking.  Eric quoted President Reagan,

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”

This Antifa On Fire

When you make a Molotov cocktail correctly, it’s really hard to extinguish the flames. There is no sympathy for the person in these videos who was about to throw the Molotov cocktail at the police, only to drop it and set his own feet on fire.

Spontaneous Or Organized?

Comments Off on Spontaneous Or Organized?

When the “protests” erupted after the death of George Floyd, there was much discussion about whether such protests were a spontaneous reaction or were the activities being guided and organized by a group.  The fact that that were “protests” in dozens of cities across the country almost immediately suggested that there was an element of organization behind it.  The media tried to play the narrative of people being fed up with police brutality.  This led to large scale activism.

If one goes back to the Trayvon Martin death, the protests were very much spontaneous.  They erupted at different times on different dates.  There appeared to be little if any coordination.  While there is no doubt that the video of George Floyd’s death was an enraging factor, evidence is now emerging that strongly suggests that this summer’s continuing violence is highly organized.
