As most people know by now, the hero of the Ukraine, Vladimir Zelenskyy, showed up in the US on Wednesday to get more payola.  Zelenskyy spoke to Congress at length and was showered with repeated standing ovations.  Very few of the assembled Congress critters did not participate in the fawning and swooning.  Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) were notable exceptions.

Canada continues to devalue human life.

Justin Trudeau’s government continues to show that it little cares about the value of human life.  Starting mid-March, Canada will allow medical euthanasia for people plagued with mental disorders under the country’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) legislation. From March 17, the law in Canada expands to include those suffering from mental illnesses.

Election denier Stacey Abrams appears to have taken a page out of BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors’s playbook.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Abrams’s nonprofit (any audits done lately?) attempted to purchase multi-million dollar real estate . . . and then fired its chief operations officer as well as its directors of design and digital marketing, citing a lack of funds.

The real estate deal is the latest murky financial situation involving the New Georgia Project. The group was founded to register non-white voters and was once led by Sen. Raphael Warnock (D., Ga.).  The group missed the deadline to file required financial disclosures to the IRS.  Surprise! Surprise! ...

Don Surber had a couple of interesting articles recently.  In one he noted that the Ukrainian war was a foregone conclusion once the coup had been successfully navigated.  Why?  Because crooks always pay off their benefactors (and keep some for themselves).   In the other Don talks about panic within the ranks of the Democrats over the impending elections.  These two issues are inextricably tied together.
