According to the administration some 6,000 to 7,000 Americans were rescued/evacuated due to the “extraordinary efforts” of our State Department and our military. Yet, as far as I know, there are no stories in the media about this. Why?

Where are the stories about barely escaping the clutches of the Taliban? Where are the joyful reunions in airports where relieved relatives greet their family members? These are the kind of human interest stories that the media love to add at the end of their telecasts. ...

Extraordinary Success

I took the opportunity on Tuesday to review the address that the occupant of the White House gave about the drawdown of US forces in Afghanistan. In it the occupant called the drawdown an “extraordinary success.” This got me to thinking about other “extraordinary successes” that have been had by this administration in a little over seven months. Tens of thousands of people in Germany and France protested against COVID-19-related restrictions and vaccine passports over the weekend. More and more people worldwide are standing up and saying the restrictions infringe on their rights.

Yesterday I spoke about anger that is swelling up across the country over the actions of the idiot in the White House. Hrand Tookman has published a piece that displays all this anger and then some. I think rage might be a more apt description. I will warn you that there is some strong language in this piece. However, I think it reflects what many people across the country are feeling.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the resignations of two top vaccine officials on Tuesday. Reports indicate the two were leaving in anger over the Biden administration’s plan to roll out COVID-19 booster shots before officials had a chance to study and review it.

Webster’s defines anger as “a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure or hostility.” I am not sure if that is what I am feeling or if my feelings border on rage. I have spoken with friends and relatives from several different areas of the country. I sense my anger reflected in their own. I am somewhat surprised at the strength of this emotion. And it is all because of the craven actions of the inhabitant of the White House.

As most of America knows by now, the Avatar in the White House usually does not take questions or if he does, he follows an approved script of who to call on. He has alluded to this a number of times. The most recent was Sunday when Biden delivered remarks on Hurricane Ida at FEMA headquarters.

The NBA has ordered that all individuals around players and referees need to be fully vaccinated before games begin in October. This includes coaches, medical and performance staff, equipment staff, media relations, social media producers and others.

It Gets Worse

The White House declared “Mission accomplished” and took a victory lap on Monday over the greatest foreign policy disaster in US history.

The administration admitted to leaving behind at least 250 Americans. The number is very likely a lot higher. The administration started using language last week to indicate that everyone who “wanted to leave” were being taken care of. Why would anyone believe the administration at this point?
