Nancy Pelosi, like most good politicians, usually avoids making predictions about what will happen in elections. Which is why what the House minority leader told late-night host Stephen Colbert two weeks ago is surprising.
“Let me say this,” Pelosi told Colbert. “Up until today, I would’ve said, ‘If the election were held today, we would win.’ … What now I’m saying is, ‘We will win.'”
Now the Democrats, as everybody knows, would like to get rid of the 2nd amendment. And if they retake the House, undoubtedly they will try to pass legislation restricting Americans rights in connection with firearms. An outright ban may not be in the immediate offing. However, it is the ultimate goal of the Communist Democratic Party. ...
