Over the weekend 500 to 1000 migrants from Central America decided to try to invade the country from Tijuana. The showdown at the San Diego-Tijuana border crossing has contrasted two competing narratives about the caravan of migrants hoping to come into America but stuck on the Mexican side. Some see them as a threat to U.S. national security. Others insist that they are primarily women and children fleeing violence.
So what was the truth? There are women and children in the caravan. But, they are a minority. The U.S. Border Patrol’s top agent in the San Diego region said the migrants used some women and children as human shields as they hurled rocks and debris at officers guarding a fence.
‘What we saw over and over yesterday was that the group – the caravan, as we call them – would push women and children to the front, and then begin, basically, rocking our agents,’ he reported.
Over 600 members of the caravan have been identified by DHS as convicted criminals. In addition, more than 100 have been arrested in Mexico since they crossed Mexico’s southern border. The Democrats want to allow all these people in.
As has been seen in numerous videos and pictures, the caravan is composed primarily of young adult males, roughly 90%. As has been shown via interviews, they are not fleeing violence but rather are looking for “free benefits” in the US. And they believe that they have a right to these benefits.
MSNBC’s Gadi Schwartz destroyed the MSM narrative about mostly women and children with his report from inside the migrant camp in Tijuana. Hopefully he still has a job after having done this.
Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen provided the following statement regarding the recent crisis on our southern border.
“Given the activities of the last 24 hours at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, I want to provide an update on what occurred and attempt to dispel many of the rumors and much of the misinformation circulating.
“First, the violence we saw at the border was entirely predictable. This caravan, unlike previous caravans, had already entered #Mexico violently and attacked border police in two other countries. I refuse to believe that anyone honestly maintains that attacking law enforcement with rocks and projectiles is acceptable. It is shocking that I have to explain this, but officers can be seriously or fatally injured in such attacks. Self-defense isn’t debatable for most law-abiding Americans.

Of course, the left wing media like the NYTimes and WaPo just ignore this. They will publish anything that they think may weaken the administration’s position. A photo op was staged near the border to show “inhumane actions by the Border Patrol.” The picture shown below was published and went around the world in minutes. When one looks closely, one can easily see that it was staged.
Citizen journalists took particular pleasure in pointing out how so called top-drawer media outlets had been hoaxed.
The media lies and we know why they lie. The Democrats are the party of big business. They are working hand in hand with big corporate interests to advance their interests. 50 years ago the Democrats were supposed to be the party of the people. I am not sure that ever was the case. However, it is crystal clear that that moniker does not belong to the Democratic Party today.
If they succeed in fomenting a torrent of migrants entering the country, this will depress wages, reduce the quality of life wherever they live and bring increased violence. These people will then look to the Democrats to provide them with security and the necessities of life in return for their votes.
It’s abundantly clear that Democrats have a strategy. Flood the country with Third World migrants so they can install themselves as the ruling class for the rest of eternity.
There are people who actually believe that Trump is destroying America. Nothing could be further from the truth. Because of the media, people cannot see the good things this President has done for our country. Many want to return to the Obama years. This is despite the fact many will lose theirs Jobs and pay higher taxes and support all the illegal aliens that can run across an open border.
Since the MSM is largely responsible for this, how do you fix it without stepping on the 1st Amendment?
