This weekend saw the annual March For Life in Washington. There were other marches this past weekend but they paled in comparison to the importance of the March For Life. Tens of thousands of people descended on Washington in the face of an approaching severe winter storm. They marched to protect the rights of those who cannot speak for themselves. They marched to protect the rights of the unborn.
The Democrats and their foot soldiers would have you believe that unborn children have no rights. They have knee-jerk reactions to any criticisms of one of their favorite corporate donors, Planned Parenthood (PP). They use the smokescreen of “choice” to defend PP.
They claim that a woman has a right to decide what to do with her body. Now a woman certainly has the right to choose to have sex or not. A woman has the right to choose to use protection or not when having sex. A woman has the right to choose whom she will have sex with. But, no one, not even a woman, has the right to choose death for a child that results from such activities.
PDJT made a surprise video presentation. This is the second time he has done so. PDJT is the 1st sitting president to speak to the March For Life. VP Mike Pence and his wife Karen also made a surprise appearance at the rally to lend their support to the March. VP Pence said that PDJT is “the most pro-life President ever.” The Pence’s are well known for their belief in a Christian lifestyle. Recently Karen Pence has been the subject of some hate-filled criticism because she has chosen to teach at a Christian school in Virginia. The anti-Christian bias of the left is nothing short of terrifying.
Devaluing human life is one of the strategies of the left to exert more and more control over the citizens of this country. The 1973 Roe vs Wade decision was a monumental error on the part of the Supreme Court. It was as bad as Plessy vs Ferguson in 1896. It has allowed millions of children to be murdered. It has created a for-profit industry in baby body parts to boggles the mind in its depravity. I am certain that, at some time in the future, most Americans will look back on abortion the same way we look back on slavery today. That it is an abhorrent practice.
More and more young people are throwing off the brainwashing of the Democrats about abortion. The left cannot allow this. This has resulted in the usual for them. The Democrats, who have been following the Nazi playbook from the 1930’s, have been trying to normalize the use of violence against anyone whose views are contrary to their own. Once again this idea reared its ugly head.
A group of Catholic high school students from Kentucky who were attending the March For Life stopped at the Lincoln Memorial. A video shows a Native American veteran approaching the group and beating a drum in the faces of the gathered students. Because the students did not immediately stop their chanting, Ben Hoffman, failed actor, called for someone, anyone to punch the one teenage boy in the genitals and send it to him. Other left wing activists called the students racists and asked for a copy of the school’s yearbook. This was undoubtedly so they could strike fear of their life in these students by doxing them.
This is typical behavior from supporters of the Democratic Party today. And rarely if ever, does anyone in the Party speak out against this type of activity. Their ultimate goal is the suppression of views that run counter to their own. Saul Alinsky, the avowed Marxist and Communist, would be proud of such actions.
The March For Life is a true protest march. There is no violence. There is no profanity on their signs. This is a peaceful protest that the left would have you believe is an existential threat to the very fabric of our country.
It is time for everyday Americans to take back our country from those who would turn it into a totalitarian state.
