Bombs Away!

I must confess that I have always liked House Representative Jim Jordan.  He has always struck me as a no-nonsense guy who is a straight shooter.  On Monday, in his role as ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, Jordan sent a letter to FBI Director Wray.  In it Jordan is questioning why the exposing of an unbelievable level of political corruption has to come from a case in a courtroom rather than from Director Wray himself.

The exposing of criminality within the elite levels of the FBI continues.  In effect Jordan has tossed an IED into Director Wray’s lap.  In addition to requesting all documents and communications relating to the investigation as well as communications among the executive branch agencies (good luck with that…Obama will assert executive privilege). Jordan has asked for the following:

This has the feel of building a case for the removal of Wray, who appears to be a Deep Stater, as director of the FBI.  Sundance over at CTH reminds us about PDJT’s remarks when Wray downplayed the FISA abuse.

Some notes about Jordan’s letter.  This is a letter by a man with morals and virtue, trying to do the right thing.  The timeline is excellent.  It is well footnoted as to the source of each statement.  This exposes step by step the corrupt actions within the Obama-Biden administration.

This sets the stage to bring political pressure for Wray’s removal.  It won’t probably happen now.  But, the stage is being set for after the election.  Jordan is informing Wray that he has few friends left in the Trump camp.  After all, who really trusts the FBI now?

Jordan’s letter is an escalation in the battle between PDJT and his “forces” and the forces that oppose him.  There continues to be a drip, drip of additional documents from the DOJ.  This almost appears to be deliberate so as to keep the story somewhat active in the news cycle.

Jordan is also letting Wray know that eyes will be on him if any more “tricks” show up in FBI actions particularly during the coming election cycle.
