The Big Lie continues. Last week, in his “leaked” phone call, former President Obama tried to get a narrative rolling that PDJT’s approach to the situation in NY regarding the virus had been “an absolute chaotic disaster.” As we have been seeing from Democrats and their co-conspirators in the media, the use of a flat-out lie is becoming more and more commonplace.
Let’s take a look at just a few of the many decisions and insights that PDJT has made that were both intelligent and smart.
From the very beginning of his campaign in 2015, PDJT has said that borders matter. It was central to his campaign. It is a key to “living” wages since unrestricted immigration of people with low or no work skills depresses the wages of Americans. The Big Lie here was that this approach to improving our country’s security and wellbeing was racist. How is controlling the nation’s borders racist?
In NY the Wuhan virus has proved PDJT right as countries around the world tightened their own borders to control the spread of the virus. Are these actions by other countries racist?
The Big Lie is it’s only racist when PDJT does it. This is the narrative that the Democrats and their media allies have been running with. The Democrats have no idea of how to actually govern other than by extracting the nation’s wealth from its people.
PDJT was right when he decided to stop flights coming in from China and somewhat later to do the same with flights from Europe. PDJT did this despite “expert” advice from Dr. Fauci’s NIH, the CDC and WHO that counseled otherwise. Dr. Fauci later praised PDJT’s decision saying that his actions saved many lives.
What was the Democratic reaction to this? Once again the Big Lie. PDJT’s actions were “xenophobic” and “racist.” This was echoed by the MSM. Apparently stopping travelers who may be carrying the virus is racist. Only the most brainwashed among the population believe that.
Trump is right that we need to get our manufacturing out of China. The Wuhan virus shows that we are dangerously dependent on China when it comes to essentials such as antibiotics and other medicines. China’s actions (cornering the world market on masks among other things) during the pandemic demonstrate the solid foundation for PDJT’s belief.
PDJT is right that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) can be an effective treatment. Studies have shown that it needs to be combined with a supplement called zinc sulfate to be most efficacious. The drug has been around for decades and its profile is well understood.
The Big Lie here is that HCQ could kill you. There is the possibility that a very small percentage of the population can have a reaction to the drug which could cause a dangerous heart arrythmia. This possibility can be tested for before taking the drug. The media ran with the Big Lie saying that PDJT was putting people’s lives at risk. There is significantly more risk with the drug now being promoted as a possible cure.
The American medical establishment is determined to reject the cheap HCQ in favor of the much more expensive, and not necessarily more helpful, Remdesivir. Serious side effects are more common with this drug. One has heard almost nothing about that. I wonder why.
PDJT brainstormed at one of his Wuhan virus updates that UV light might be a possible treatment. This was derided by the media. Once again it turns out PDJT was right. There are companies currently in clinical trials on using UV light for treatment protocols.
Another area where the President has been shown to be right is the mortality rate. In the earlier stages the WHO estimated that the mortality rate would be in the 3 to 4 percent range. That was a huge overestimate and undoubtedly helped the media to build ungrounded fears about becoming ill with it. PDJT thought differently. PDJT had a hunch that it would be in the range of the flu.
For this PDJT was blasted by the media and the DNC.

There’s really no excuse for the president to be spreading this kind of misinformation to downplay a deadly disease.

We have found out during the last few weeks that many millions of people have had the illness without ever knowing they did. Current mortality rates (0.1% – 0.3%) appear to be in the same range as that of the flu. As with the flu the most vulnerable are the elderly who have co-morbidities.
It is difficult to stress how important these findings are. The 6-week lockdown that has destroyed the American economy was put in place by accepting what look to be rather absurd numbers by the WHO.
Was it a mistake to shut down the economy? It certainly appears so. The shutdown was engineered by the Democrats’ and the media’s incessant drumbeat of an impending apocalypse.
We need to be celebrating our President and what the President has done. Has he been perfect? No. But, no one could be.
PDJT has demonstrated the kind of leadership this is needed in a crisis like this. PDJT has been calm and reassuring. PDJT has demonstrated a command of the facts. PDJT has communicated these facts well. He has demonstrated the capacity to think about the short, medium and long term needs while carefully weighing competing options and conflicting opinions. PDJT has made decisions that have helped to ameliorate the situation. Without any assistance from the media, he has aroused a belief in America and its ability to overcome this challenge.
For all of this we need to be thankful. And we need to let everyone know that again and again.
