A Hijacking

In an absolutely bizarre twist in the Flynn case, the retired judge who was appointed to file an amicus brief with the court is now requesting a briefing schedule, oral arguments and the possibility of interviewing witnesses.

This is unbelievable.  Judge Sullivan’s courtroom has been turned into a circus where leftist clowns can display their talents.  The only time a motion to dismiss by the government that is supported by the defense is not immediately granted is when there is suspicion of corruption favoring the defendant.  That is certainly not the case here where ALL THE CORRUPTION that has been uncovered has been directed against Michael Flynn.

These kinds of actions would make the KGB proud.  The judicial system is demonstrating that the rule of law does not exist for you if you are opposed to the favored elite.  The hate for the legal system is rising everyday as more and more Americans have their eyes opened to the incredible level of corruption going on.

The judge is attempting to hijack the case away from the DOJ.  There is no provision in the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure allowing third parties to intervene in federal criminal cases.  Judge Sullivan ruled against such participation 24 times in this case.  There is virtually no constitutional authority to allow an Article III judge, such as Sullivan, to invite non-parties to intervene in a federal criminal case and act as an ad hoc prosecutor of the defendant.  And that is what is going on here.

“Any additional factual development” implies that Mr. Gleeson is planning to spend some time investigating facts that are not currently before the court.  This would include the possibility of interviewing witnesses.  This would place the retired judge in the position of replacing the prosecution in this case.  I guess if you, as judge, do not like the Department of Justice you have, you invent a new one just like Nancy Pelosi did.  Or is Mr. Gleeson trying to set himself up as a Special Counsel like Robert Mueller was?

The Democrats must be very nervous.  This is pure and utter desperation.  Has there ever been a case in the US where an outside prosecutor is hired to come into the court to propose a perjury charge of lying to the court over a withdrawn guilty plea?

Michael Flynn must know a lot about the corruption within the Obama administration, much more than we ever imagined.  This is clearly an effort to keep General Flynn muzzled through election season.  Flynn must be silenced by any means necessary.

While I have sympathy for General Flynn, I also notice that every time Judge Sullivan steps further and further outside of legal norms, Flynn’s status as a symbol of what is wrong in Washington grows.  This is the greatest victory we can achieve here. It removes all doubts that Flynn is an innocent victim of deep state criminals aligned with Obama-Clinton-DNC.

These facts need to be spread far and wide.
