Kidnapping

The demonization of the police continues.  On Tuesday Chris Hayes of MSNBC sent out a tweet designed to stoke anger at police.

The idea behind calling it kidnapping (aside from the perpetual stance of being offended) is to make it seem like some dictatorship where government thugs actually make people disappear.

To do that, they have to pretend the people being arrested are not really criminals and they have to ignore the existence of due process.

The reality was that this was a lawful arrest of a woman who was wanted for multiple crimes.  It was conducted by undercover NYPD officers from the Warrant Squad.  Anyone who viewed this arrest should have recognized what it was since the undercover officers were assisted by uniformed officers.  Why didn’t Chris Hayes recognize what it was?

Hayes was not the only one to have blinders on.  Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) reviewed the video and called it “terrifying.”

Apparently Nadler does not recognize the uniformed NYPD officers on the scene to help since he referred to the “anonymous use of force.”  The Honorable Nadler seems to be past his use-by-date.

Nadler apparently believes that it is a constitutional right to not be arrested when one commits a crime.  In doing so, Nadler is aiding and abetting rioters to get away with their crimes.

With rioters attacking police everywhere, we should expect to see more unmarked vehicles.  This lowers the risk of injury to the officers when making an arrest.

Constitutional law scholar Jonathan Turley cut through the BS and called out those who were pushing this denigration of the police.

PDJT has often referred to fake news.  This is just another example of the garbage being sent out by supposed news people.  If they want that to stop, they should stop tweeting and reporting fake news.
