Uttar Pradesh…Free of COVID

Now Uttar Pradesh is not a name that is on the lips of people in this country.  It should become so.  Anyone who has even a passing interest in stopping COVID should come to understand what happened there.

Fact-centered websites have known for some time that India was making inroads against the virus.  The Delta variant had spread like wildfire there earlier this year.  In May some 3.6 million cases were active within the country according the India’s Ministry of Health.  In late April, the ministry updated its treatment guidelines to recommend Ivermectin (IVM) for patients and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as a prophylaxis for patient caregivers.

Shortly after the treatment protocols were updated, cases began to fall off.  Is this cause and effect?

As the COVID Blog reported:

There are 292 studies (219 are peer-reviewed) proving the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine as both a treatment and prophylaxis against COVID-19. Ivermectin has 93 studies (54 peer-reviewed) showing its effectiveness as treatment and prophylaxis against COVID-19. 

What does all this have to do with Uttar Pradesh?

Uttar Pradesh is a state within India.  It has the largest population of any state in India with an estimated population of 241 million people.  That is more than most countries on the planet.  It is a densely populated area.  And it has announced that it is COVID free.

The Hindustan Times reported that there were no active cases in 33 districts within Uttar Pradesh.  Also, 67 districts have not reported a single new case of the viral infection in the last 24 hours the government said on Friday.  Another eye-opening result is the fact that the positivity rate on COVID tests is less than 0.01%.  That’s one hundredth of one percent.  New COVID cases in the state have been below 100 for more than 50 consecutive days.

How did officials in Uttar Pradesh accomplish this?  Was it accomplished by getting everyone vaccinated?  It turns out that the vaccination rate in the state is 5.8%.  Yes, that’s right.  Just one in twenty has been vaccinated.  Compare that with America where 54% of the population has been vaccinated.  Was it accomplished by sealing COVID patients in their homes by welding their doors shut as was done in some areas in China?  No.  Since this might legitimately be called a miracle based on the rest of the world, did God intervene?  Not directly that anyone can discern.

So, how was it done?  Are there lessons here for the rest of the world?

Their approach is similar to what any good, frontline doctor will do when confronted with a “novel” illness.  That approach involves uses previous experience and knowledge to try to find an approach that may prove to be helpful and beneficial.

In this case, a medical team in Agra was the flash point for the successful treatment.  Agra is a city on the banks of the Yamuna river in Uttar Pradesh.  It has a population of about 1.6 million.

In May-June 2020, that team, led by Dr. Anshul Pareek, administered IVM to all RRT team members in the district on an experimental basis. A district is a subset of the Uttar Pradesh similar to our counties in America.  Over time, it was observed that none of the team developed COVID-19 despite being in daily contact with patients who had tested positive for the virus.

Based on these observations, the state government eventually sanctioned the use of IVM as a prophylactic for all the contacts of COVID patients.  Later the administration of therapeutic doses for COVID patients was added to the state’s protocols.

The drop in cases has been dramatic.  These results have also been seen in Delhi as well.  However, Kerala, a small state with a population of around 30 million, has seen a surge in cases since they discontinued the use of IVM.

I am certain that Big Pharma, the fake news media and the Democrats are horrified that this information may get out to the rest of the world.  Is this the gold-plated, double-blind study that Dr. Fauci is so fond of requiring for any treatment to be given the green light?  The answer is no.  However, the vaccines that he touts as the answer are not either.

What has happened in Uttar Pradesh is called real life.  It should not be ignored.  Those running the show in Uttar Pradesh should be congratulated for putting people’s lives ahead of political considerations.  It is clear that many lives are being saved.  If the political hacks who inhabit the NIH and the CDC were really interested in helping patients in this country, they would be jumping at the chance to test this approach out here.  I won’t hold my breath.

We The People have to get the message out.  If we are to take back our country from the evil people who currently inhabit the highest levels of our government, we must shout messages like this from the roof tops.

COVID patients at home…one 12 mg tablet per day for three days.

Primary & secondary contacts of a COVID patient…one 12 mg tablet on the first day and one more on the 7^th day.
