A Win For The Right To Life

The Supreme Court on Friday overturned Roe v. Wade, effectively ending, on the federal level, recognition of the legal right to kill unborn babies, the most vulnerable among us.  It will now be up to the individual states to allow, limit, or ban abortion altogether.  It is hopeful that the sanctity of life will guide many of those decisions.

The ruling came in the case known as Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which centered on a Mississippi law that banned abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The State of Mississippi asked the Supreme Court to strike down a lower court ruling that stopped the 15-week abortion ban from taking place.

This is a great day for the country.  The announcement overjoyed those who believe in the right to life for all human beings.  On the other side of the aisle, the Left is threatening rioting, arson, etc.  These are real domestic terrorists.

Marjorie Greene was interviewed:

“I’m overjoyed!… Everybody needs to understand it’s not entirely over.  We have people over here who are screaming, demanding to be able to murder babies.  But they still can do it.  So what they’re demanding hasn’t been taken away from them.  They can still kill a baby in the womb.  But what has happened is we can allow states to choose…  They (the left) have threatened real insurrection today Brian.  They have threatened to burn down the Supreme Court.”

Violence against pro-life centers and Catholic churches has been occurring since the draft opinion was leaked in February.  Has the FBI arrested anybody in these attacks against the sanctity of life?  Or, is the FBI spending too much time trying to decide what pronouns to use?

A shadowy pro-abortion group called “Jane’s Revenge” has issued a statement declaring “open season” on pro-life centers and organizations.   How is this not domestic terrorism?  Why haven’t Democratic politicians denounced these calls for violence?

Other protesters vow to shut down the country.

Is the country in for another round of “mostly peaceful” protests?  Rage and violence appear to be the go-to method for the left.  Nancy Pelosi even explained away pro-abortion violence as people “channel[ing] their righteous anger into meaningful action”.  In 2020 the cost was $2 billion and scores of murders.  Will the FBI stand by again and allow this kind of carnage?

Mad Maxine Waters, who once called for violence against Trump supporters, was back at it sounding very insurrectionist outside the Supreme Court.  Rep. Jackie Speier appeared on MSNBC and straight up incited violence.

“There is a war out there and we need to recognize that we’ve got to armor up,” Speier said.

Democrat Rep. Ayanna Pressley chimed in, “That’s right. This is not a drill.”

On Christmas Day in 1984, two doctors’ offices and a clinic in Pensacola, Fl were bombed by opponents of abortion who were later arrested, convicted and jailed for 10 years.

If any pro-life facilities are similarly targeted, it will be interesting to see if there is true balance in our justice systems.

This decision is as momentous as Brown v Board of Education in 1954 that overturned another egregiously wrong-headed decision in Plessy v Ferguson from 1896.  Plessy resulted in the separate but equal doctrine that Democrats used to keep blacks down on the plantation for some six decades.

Friday is a great day for life and for Supreme Court decisions that rely on the Constitution not activism.
