Rationing Begins

Two major supermarket chains in the UK (Asda & Morrisons) have announced rationing of certain food items.  Perishables like tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, cauliflower, peppers and broccoli have been restricted to just two or three per customer in a host of stores.  This is a direct result of the economic policies imposed on western countries by the “Build Back Better” crowd in Davos, Switzerland.

The crisis has developed in recent weeks primarily due to soaring energy costs which have forced British farmers to switch off greenhouses as they desperately try to make ends meet.  This rationing is expected to last for weeks if not longer.

Empty shelves abound in many areas across the UK.

In addition to Asda and Morrisons, other supermarkets are considering similar restrictions.

The Daily Mail reports:

Olly Harrison, 42, who owns Water Lane Farm in Merseyside, told MailOnline: ‘Shoppers are going to have to get used to the sight of empty shelves.

‘People are going to have to start eating some items like tomatoes seasonally again, because at the moment, without help, they just can’t be produced in this way.

‘It’s that simple: if something requires energy to be produced, and the cost of energy is getting higher and higher, no one is going to grow it.’

And keep in mind that the idiots running the Netherlands are closing 3000 farms to “save the planet.”

This is just the beginning.  Right now we are lucky in this country to have the abundance of foodstuffs that are available to us.  However, that can change as the costs of producing those foodstuffs are driven higher by the idiots on this side of the Atlantic.  A new wave of inflation is coming.

This is the deliberate destruction of the middle class via increased energy costs.
