Sabotage?

In just one day, massive fires broke out at three different facilities, two in Mexico and one in the United States that are controlled by the state-owned Mexican oil company, Pemex.

The fires broke out at the Pemex crude oil storage facility in Veracruz, Mexico, in Maya unit (285,000-barrel-a-day) Minatitlan refinery in Veracruz, and in Deer Creek, Texas.

Let me put on my tinfoil hat.  Let’s keep in mind that the Davos crowd via the US and Canada have been putting enormous pressure on Mexico to curtail their production of fossil fuels.  Mexico has refused.

President Obrador on July 13, 2022:

In the meantime, while we’re waiting for prices to go down, we have decided that it was necessary for us to allow Americans who live close to the borderline so that they could go and get their gasoline on the Mexican side at lower prices.

And right now, a lot of the drivers — a lot of the Americans — are going to Mexico, to the Mexican border, to get their gasoline.

However, we could increase our inventories immediately.  We are committed to guaranteeing twice as much supply of fuel.  That would be considerable support.

Right now, a gallon of regular costs $4.78 average on this side of the border.  And in our territory, $3.12.

Let me clarify something, and I also want to take advantage of this opportunity to thank you, Mr. President.  Most of this gasoline, we are producing it in the Pemex refinery that you allowed us to buy in Deer Park, Texas.

In essence, Mexico has taken a stand to keep prices down by not cutting back on production as the Biden administration has done in America through various methods.  Sundance reports:

Mexican President AMLO was not playing that game.  He could see what the Biden administration was doing.  AMLO read his prepared statement in the Oval Office to put a hard no on his participation.  He was going to continue oil production and increased oil refinery development in order to keep gasoline prices low.   Again, this put AMLO on the wrong side of Team Windmill.

AMLO may be a socialist but he is also a nationalist just as Trump is and Putin is.  The Davos crowd is losing in Ukraine and all the major powers know it.  Their idea of one world government controlled by them is slipping away.  They have been forcing energy prices up to enable them to control the masses.  Mexico is a roadblock on that path.

Three fires on the same day at three different facilities all owned/controlled by PEMEX seems a bit too coincidental.  If the administration would cripple gas delivery to Europe, why wouldn’t they go after Mexico as well?

MikeL noted:

Is it becoming obvious that we are being fed a false picture of a dottering, old fool president? Maybe we should start believing what we see: a mean, nasty, vengeful, pervert with no morals or impulse control. After signaling he would take out Nordstream, cut US energy production to raise all prices, cancel and close pipelines, harass a former president, jail political demonstrators for years without hearings or bail, show no sympathy for Ohio deplorables, and push Russia into China’s sphere – why should we believe Obiden wouldn’t be capable of a little nasty action against Mexico? Nice little refinery operation you got there Mr. Amlo; it would be a real shame if something happened to it.

Should we be calling this Nordstream III?

Are we in an existential spiritual battle over the future of human governance?
