By a vote of 213 to 209 the House of Representatives censured serial liar Adam Schiff “for abusing and exploiting his official position and bringing dishonor to the House of Representatives.”
Schiff will now face an Ethics Committee investigation. What will come of that is anybody’s guess. Looking at how the elite politicians protect their own, I would not hold my breath that anything substantive will come of that. This is despite the overwhelming evidence that Schiff abused his office by lying to the American public over and over.
To review, Schiff was the ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from 2015 through 2019, then Chairman of that same committee from 2019 through 2023. In his leadership position on the HPSCI both as ranking member and as chair, Schiff was also a member of the congressional Gang of Eight who received classified intelligence briefings on all U.S. intel matters.
Adam Schiff used his position on the HPSCI to fabricate information from the HPSCI, leak information to media, and falsify statements made to the public. Following the 2020 midterm election result, Schiff was removed from the committee by Speaker Kevin McCarthy. It has been stated that it is unlikely that Schiff could obtain a security clearance if he worked in the private sector.
Left leaning media outlets characterized Schiff’s removal as due to his leading role in Democratic investigations of PDJT. Of course, that’s just BS. Schiff told the American public over and over that the evidence of Russian collusion was as plain as could be. This was part and parcel of the attempt to get PDJT out of the White House by any means necessary.
None of those statements were true. The recent Durham Report shows just the opposite. It was a narrative made up out of whole cloth. And Schiff knew that
This censure happened because of the drive and perseverance of first year House member Anna Luna who is a veteran and just happens to be seven months pregnant.
The Democrats for their part cheered for Adam Schiff. Of course, why wouldn’t they? Schiff helped to protect them from being exposed as the evil people they are.

The tide is turning and it appears that the Democrats are unawares. Is this an apt analogy?
