Buttigieg and Communism

1 Comment on Buttigieg and Communism

Recently I had the opportunity to listen to an interview that was done a year ago with the ultra-leftist Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.  This interview is remarkable.  Buttigieg is interviewed on the smorgasbord of policies that the people behind the curtain propose to solve the inflation problem.  In this eight-minute segment Buttigieg reveals that the administration plans are to take over much of the economy.

Buttigieg flat out states that the goal is to use the high cost of living (caused by policy driven inflation)  to take over and subsidize medicine, childcare, housing and food costs.  This is just another step towards communism.  They claim to be able to do this by diverting our tax dollars into a social equity system.

George Stephanopoulos, the interviewer, references one of the most insane New York Times op-ed’s ever written around economics {ARTICLE HERE}.  Even Paul Krugman would have problems with this piece.

Within the op-ed, the Democrat legislative proposal is for the government to take over the purchasing of essential products like food, fuel, gasoline and medicine.  The government would then distribute those products.  The entire premise is based on some academic leftist theory of economics that is just nuts.

Another middleman would be added to the chain that brings goods to the public.  How in the  world would this ever reduce costs?  I am certain that the people functioning in these newly created “jobs” would have to be paid and probably a pretty penny at that.

Their premise here is that inflation is driven by too many people chasing scarce goods. Thus, prices are rising.  This is how the CommunistsDemocrats look at inflation and explain the problem.  They ignore the real source of the problem which is that the cost of energy has soared.  This manifests itself in every area of the economy.  There is not one sector of the economy that is not affected by the soaring energy costs.

Oil is the product that has become scarcer.  Why?  Because the administration refuses to allow drilling in this country.  Buttigieg voices strong opposition to any further exploitation of oil and natural gas.  Buttigieg and the Biden administration vociferously advocate for green energy transition with extreme urgency and apply punishment toward any opposition.

America was energy independent before Joe Biden and company moved into the White House.  The economy was booming.  Now hardly a week goes by that some large company does not announce significant layoffs.

When questioned about the high cost of gasoline, Buttigieg jumps on the opportunity to blame the oil companies.  First, the administration restricts the oil companies from drilling for a larger supply.  Then they blame the oil companies when the supply dwindles.

The next step will be to say that the government needs to take over these companies because they cannot manage their business.  After that will come the ration cards.  These will be handed out to those in good standing with the Communist Democratic Party.

Buttigieg was an incompetent fool who was the mayor of South Bend.  Buttigieg couldn’t even fix potholes. Now he is telling us that the government can control everything and make the economy all better.

This is the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset.  “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy about it.”

God help us.

Love how they blame republicans for what they are doing: culture wars, raising taxes. I can only laugh. Only the ignorant would fall for their lies. That’s who votes for them. That is why the media is such a big problem, they don’t educate the population. They twist facts to make something look good when it isn’t. Listen to the speech they gave on economy yesterday. They contradict themselves. They say inflation is going down when they compare it wage growth and in the same breath tell you it’s going up( it has the last two months) but it’s not their fault. Wish people(democrats) would stop falling for their con job! I did.
