What Is Netanyahu Thinking

The terms of the ceasefire could not be better for Hamas.  Why is this?  What kind of pressures were put on Netanyahu to go forward with such a one-sided deal?  How does this deal bring an end to Hamas which was Israel’s stated goal for invading the Gaza strip?  This ceasefire does not make sense.

This deal is a disaster for Israel.  What role did the feeble-minded occupant of the White House have in crafting this abomination?  It does not matter if the ceasefire lasts four days or four weeks.  Hamas will remain a viable entity ready to begin again in their quest to annihilate Israel and every Jew from the river to the sea.

Here in this country we know that competency does not exist in the White House.  The Avatar in the White House lurches from one kid to the next while smiling at everyone.  What about competency in Israel’s government?

No competent leader should have made the deal that Netanyahu made.  Then again, competency was certainly missing in the runup to the October 7th attacks.  Israel’s future as a nation is certainly in question at this point.

Let’s break the deal down.

The Swap.  This is not an exchange of military prisoners.  By agreeing to a hostages for prisoners swap, Israel has elevated terrorist scum to be on the same level of humanity as innocent civilians.  They have emboldened every terrorist group in the world to kidnap innocent people in order to get their terrorist brothers released from prison to terrorize again.  These jihadists want us all dead and this hostage deal absolutely encourages terrorists to take innocent westerners.

President Biden has celebrated the releases.  So, Biden is telling the world that it is a good idea to kidnap innocent civilians.  Hamas is now stringing him along with the promise of a slow release of more hostages. Biden has stabbed Israel in the back.

Mark Levin noted, “…every day that Biden succeeds is delaying Israel’s ability to finish off Hamas is a day that will make it harder to get the job done.”  And you know that any Americans held hostage will be in the last group to be freed.  Is Biden working to prevent Israel from accomplishing its goal?  How much money will Biden send Iran for this?

The Ceasefire.

The ceasefire gives Hamas a chance to rest, rebuild and rearm.  How many more Israeli soldiers’ lives will be lost because of this?  In addition, Hamas can extend the ceasefire by releasing a dribble of hostages over time.  This will allow more rest and recuperation time for Hamas terrorists.

Again, why did Israel agree to this?  At this point, according to all news sources, Israel has killed one, just one, senior Hamas commander.  There is no way that this will hamper Hamas activity.  It also calls into question Israel’s purpose in invading Gaza.

Netanyahu and his advisors had badly mishandled this situation.  Whatever sympathy that some people in the world had for Israel after October 7th has been squandered.  Israel should have trumpeted that the taking of hostages is a war crime and that there would be no cessation of any wartime activities until all hostages had been released.

This is a propaganda war as much as it is a physical war.  And Hamas is winning the propaganda war.  Israel should have hammered home over and over the butchery of what Hamas did and what Hamas’ stated goal is, the elimination of all Jews.  Instead, the nightly newscasts build sympathy for the people in Gaza through the videos that Hamas is releasing to the world press.

At this point I doubt the ability of the Netanyahu government to come even close to achieving its stated goals of eliminating Hamas as a threat.

The propaganda in the media does hurt the narrative but what would have been send in the media if they didn’t accept the release of hostages? After they stop releasing hostages they will go right back to attacking Hamas as they should. This war will last for months.
