America is a nation of laws built on a Judeo-Christian foundation. However, if you look around the country right now, it appears that individuals with appropriate credentials (read leftists) have the right to ignore whatever law they do not like if it does not support their personal ideology.
These individuals, mostly woke leftists but it does include Republicans, will mangle the language to create an appearance that diverts from reality. Insurrection is one such word that has been applied to the peaceful protest in DC on January 6, 2021.
The terms used by professional leftists are always coordinated for a purpose. This seems glaringly obvious with the repeated use of the term “insurrection” as applied to the events on January 6, 2021. The only people with guns were law enforcement and the only use of such lethal force was by a Capitol police officer who shot and killed an unarmed Ashli Babbitt.
We have already seen the Colorado Secretary of State say, “I BELIEVE he committed an insurrection.” Okay then. He must be guilty. No need for a trial, evidence, discovery or any other of those due process things that get in the way of the Left’s march to authoritarianism.
Four Colorado clowns who happen to sit on the Supreme Court of Colorado decided to agree with her and unilaterally barred PDJT from the ballot there. Again, no need for a trial, evidence, discovery or any other of those due process things. PDJT has not been charged with any such activity because the Left knows they cannot come close to establishing any kind of case against PDJT.
The Communists Democrats now feel emboldened that they can unilaterally by fiat deny Americans the right to vote for the person of their choice. This is just like it is in China. How much is the senile one making by supporting such nonsense?

It is a remarkable display of political hubris and hypocrisy to see the Lawfare leftists proclaim they are defending democracy by trying to destroy the foundational “right to vote” of the American electorate. Then again, the hubris and hypocrisy are a feature of communism, not a flaw therein.
The Maine decision by fiat will likely first travel through the judicial system in the state, as the determination of the Secretary of State holds no legal basis outside the authority granted to an individual office holder.
The need for control is a reaction to fear. If the totalitarian left thought they could win on substance and policy, they would not resort to these insufferable Lawfare tactics. Those who hold office by fiat need to be dispatched with extreme prejudice.
