Odds & Ends

In an unexpected twist to the Biden regime’s environmental policy, affluent areas, including Martha’s Vineyard, Montauk, and parts of Nantucket, have been designated as “low-income” communities, making them eligible for federal tax credits for electric vehicle (EV) charger installations, Daily Caller reported.

“The Department of Treasury and the Department of Energy are releasing intended definitions for eligible census tracts that will confirm that the Inflation Reduction Act’s 30C EV charging tax credit is available to approximately two-thirds of Americans. This tax credit provides up to 30% off the cost of the charger to individuals and businesses in low-income communities and non-urban areas.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) eligibility map, areas such as Martha’s Vineyard – the well-known summer haven for the rich and powerful, with homes regularly priced in the millions – have been marked as eligible for these subsidies.

Just another scheme to benefit the rich and famous.

The International Union of Police Associations has endorsed Trump for the 2024 election.

In addition to illegal immigration and the economy, crime is going to play a major role in the election, so this endorsement means something.  Expect to see more such endorsements coming to Trump as we head toward November.

“President Trump’s history of support for the men and women of Law Enforcement is unmatched. His policies and actions were directed at improving safety in our communities and the men and women who provide that shield,” the release stated, adding that the 45th president “earned and deserves” the IUPA’s “wholehearted support.”

Joe Biden is declining the opportunity to speak to millions of Americans during the Super Bowl and Megyn Kelly thinks she knows why.

Biden’s handlers are keeping him away from this interview for reasons that are obvious to everyone.

The farmer revolt in the EU is still spreading like wild fire – now is in Spain.  They join other European countries in protesting against high costs, bureaucracy, competition from non-EU nations and – Big Media loves to forget that – the failed, crippling ‘green’ regulations.

14 highways in the regions of Catalonia, Andalusia, Castille-La Mancha and Valencia were blockaded.

“Farmers say demanding rules imposed on them by the EU to protect the environment make them less competitive than peers in other regions, such as Latin America or non-EU Europe.

‘We spend more time dealing with paperwork than in the field’, farmer Eva Garcia told Reuters in the northern city of Vitoria, adding that the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy was ‘choking us’.”

What country will be next?

Is Biden preparing to send National Guard troops from Alaska to the border?  This would emulate what China did at Tiananmen Square in 1989.

The reason this guy was not run over was that China could not get local troops to forcibly remove the protesters or harm them.  So, troops from Mongolia were brought in who then committed the atrocities that took place at that time.

A new report is warning that Joe Biden plans to use the National Guard on the southern border to restrict Texas’ ability to provide security.

The report in PJMedia explains the confirmation comes from an Anchorage Daily News report that the Alaska National Guard “said that a memorandum from the federal government had been issued, directing Alaska forces to prepare two LUH-72 Lakota helicopters and 20 guardsmen to potentially be deployed.”

The administration knows that Texas National Guard soldiers would find themselves in the same position as the local soldiers did in China in 1989.  Bringing in soldiers from far way will make it easier to ignite a confrontation at the border.
