This is a topic that has been talked about before. How does the public find a way to make it clear to our elected representatives that they represent us and not the big money individuals and corporations? How does the general population of everyday Americans wrestle control back from these parasites who are feeding on the labors of all of us?
Sundance over at CTH has taken the time to begin a discussion of this. This beginning comes at a time while Sundance is traveling in Europe and has experienced a hard crash of his laptop and electronics. They won’t even power up. Strange timing!
We need to be heard. We need to unite our voices and use that union to target specific government abusers who are catering to super wealthy individuals and mega corporations and are ignoring the public today. Mary McCord is one such individual.
Sundance notes:
There have been several discussions centered around the use of federalism; factually, there is a good argument to be made that tactical civics can have a strong impact on the overall dynamic of a detached, disinterested and yet weaponized system of government. However, the flaw within this process is thinking the power center operators care about what is happening at the boundaries of our defenses.
…
Not only does this UniParty assembly mean our applying electoral federalism (aka tactical civics) results in a slower march toward the same cliff, it also means we are comforted by a sense of something that ultimately provides little value.
People who believe in the real America are being targeted by “them.” The J6 political hostages are one very public example of this government abuse. Pro-life people who protest outside abortion clinics can face a decade in prison as those abusers twist the laws to try to suppress ideologies that do not align with the current people in power.
Assuming that Trump can get back to DC, the entire corrupt apparatus in DC will fight to destroy him. The shock troops (think BLM, Antifa) will be activated to create chaos. We will be told that the only way civility returns to country is if Trump is neutered. So, how do we support PDJT and confront those in our government who are abusing us?
Let’s be reminded that there are many more of us than “them.” The Polish Solidarity movement essentially shut down the entire country. Is that possible here? Probably not.
We, freedom-loving Americans, Christians, Jews, etc., have been targeted for our beliefs by our government. Parents have been targeted by the FBI for protesting at school board meetings. Catholics have been targeted for attending the Latin Mass. And the list goes on and on.
Thinking along the lines of a work stoppage, could targeted strikes be effective?
Sundance advances a few ideas:
Think about targeting now going in reverse, where WE THE PEOPLE now target the non-compliant system operators and/or politicians. A Senator or Congress person aligns against Trump’s interests, our interests, and instead of gnashing our teeth, we immediately begin a targeted work stoppage in/around the representative’s district. In this scenario we don’t need tens of millions to make an impact, only a few thousand can completely change the dynamic.
How does it work? How is it possible? How did the people of Poland pay their bills during the solidarity strikes? How do you organize that process so that everyone can participate, and yet no one individually needs to carry the risk of losing? These nuts-and-bolts questions are part of my research mission.
How effective would a Congressional District (CD-??) “sick-out” be? Perhaps timed for every Wednesday, beginning on the {fill_in_the_blank_day} and continuing until the representative understood that he/she alone was the cause of the economic trouble in their district. You see, the general labor strike doesn’t need to be scaled to the size of Poland circa 1980’s; instead with modern communication, it can target very specific places and create just as big an impact.
Let’s look at one example. We were treated to a lot of PR about the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Government. Once the public’s interest was transferred elsewhere, once the public felt a little satisfied that something was being done, what happened? Very little. What would happen if targeted strikes took place in the members’ districts with regularity? What would happen if it was made clear that the member’s failure to advance the goals of that subcommittee was the reason for the strikes?
Does this change the dynamic? Would “they” hear us better?
Let’s look to Europe. In the beginning (Germany), there was something of a wait and see approach by those in power. As the stoppages persisted, then they tried to bribe the farmers to return home. That did not work and the stoppages spread to other countries. As I write this there are ten countries experiencing some kind of significant protest. Some countries (France in particular when the stoppages got there) immediately tried to bribe the farmers. There was no wait and see period.
Is NYC a starting point for such an operation? The recent “ruling” against Trump by an out-of-control judge could be the lighting of a fire that will be difficult for those in power to extinguish.
So, this approach could work. Politicians are aware of what happens outside their districts. There are undoubtedly many more good ideas about how to approach this. We need to be generating such ideas to find the best. More than one approach is needed.
Dutchman has proposed another strategy.
I’m thinking of a tactic developed by the Hong Kong Protesters, as an analogy for both what Sundance and Judith are suggesting.
Firstly, what the HK protesters did, might be called “flash mob protesting”.
Anyone familiar with the “Kettleing” operations used by LE in Australia?
They bring in 3-500 leos, in riot gear, unload them and have them lineup in formations, looking formidable and scary, and then they move in with tear gas and rubber bullets.
Anyway, in HK they used encrypted text msging, to form up a protest crowd of 1000’s in 1-5 minutes.
LEO respond, and as the busses pull up and begin unloading, and the ‘troops’ start to get in formation, the crowd disperses as quickly as it forms,….only to reform 1/2 to several miles away.
It totally disarms or negates the ‘Kettling’ strategy, by rapid deployment, rapid dispersion.
This is something to be added to our repertoire; TIMING, as well as TARGETED demonstrations or strikes.
Like the flash mobs of shoplifters, only for a different purpose of course.
Millions of pissed off, nearly anonymous, freedom fighters awakening to a lethal enemy is a formidable force with an infinite scope.
That is what we must strive to become.
Trust your gut. Speak your truth. Live your best life. Throw sand. Never yield. Carry the message. Let your love and your works show your goodness and leave unmistakable tracks as your calling card.
Don’t cave to them!
You are not alone!
You can make a profound difference!
Godspeed!
