Raising Children

Katharine Birbalsingh, argues that the West’s moral crisis began with the values we taught our children. She explores how schools, culture, and social media have shaped a generation.  Children are taught to see the world through the lens of oppressor and oppressed.

Of course, as a general view of the world, this is ludicrous.  Birbalsingh shows why restoring duty, responsibility, and moral character is essential to the future of Western civilization.  It is time to end the idea that every time someone fails to overcome an obstacle, it is due to be oppressed.

This video is worth 14 minutes of your time.

The society of any country has a DNA.  In America, that DNA included accountability, merit-based accomplishments, a belief in God and freedom and accepting the responsibilities of citizenship.  These traditions have been weakened in our country.

We must return God and patriotism to our lives.  America is not some evil country that the woke Left would like people to think it is.

Dependency on federal handouts needs to end.  The Great Society of Johnson was passed to allow the Democrats to build a subset of the population who would keep them in power.  The Great Society created a lot of “victims” who weren’t mentally strong enough to avoid the entitlement trap.

Saving the country does not mean we need to regress to conditions in this country from a couple of generations ago.  What it does mean is teaching responsibility, teaching accountability.  Explain that virtues like honesty and living up to your word are good.  The idea that such qualities are evidence of white supremacy and need to be abandoned is ridiculous.

We need more people like Katharine Birbalsingh shouting from the rooftops about this.
